Apparently you need to remove the cotton from Ilios' wedge wink. He didn't say anything about replacing it smile.

Elves have more forests in the wedge.
Ice mobs boosted up a bit to hurt Hyborem better should he show up there.

They will once/if they flip to agrarianism. But yeah, before that they are pure decoration.

Which brings up a pretty interesting question - who, and at what time will move the palace closer to the centre?

Frankly, would you flip to Agrarianism? Those farms become 2 F 0 H tiles, aka grassland tiles. At least now they have 1 hammer in an emergency...

Edit: It's still a good map though. Sorry if i sound harsh.

A couple nitpicks, one bigger than the other: DaveV (and no one else) has sight on a 3x3 square of ice.

Second, and possibly actually significant: The Kurios expanded BFC goes out into the desert. Now I think they can tell this by scouting, but no one else would have an issue founding in place.

With this kind of start i believe Ilios gets the bigest advantage,its with intention because his civ is weak?

Yes, this is to compensate for the fact he has the most challenging pick, and for the slow elven workers. In the long run these two hammers will not matter much, what they do with cities nr.2 and nr.3 will be much more important.

Expanded Kurios BFC to be mostly plains, added some staggered roads to lead people towards the middle, everyone should see one tile of grass from their hill now.

Also elves are supposed to start in a forest, the standard map script usually gives them a large one.
