Astronaut without sin confounds press, invites trio to control civilization

novice Wrote:I notice that there's no plan for Belligerence - I think it should move to the plains 1E of Callisto and farm-cancel, then move 2NE to the plains forest hill and road it. We need the worker over there to get the HG, the worker being built in Luna can hook ivory.

So when I actually checked my plan, it turned out that Belligerence should start with helping complete the farm 1N of Ganymede, so that's what it's doing now.

Turn 51 played. YNL rejected Open Borders. I guess they didn't realize we were doing them a favour, since we have intercontinental trade routes anyway, and they gain more trade routes from us than we gain from them, since we have more cities. I offered open borders to Luddicator so that our scout can go scout.

I'm guessing that YNL don't have sailing yet. In that case, open borders with us wouldn't help them anyway. (Also in that case, I'm not sure why they researched writing?)

How many cities do we have for HG in your t60 plan? And can we get more? wink

Edit: Demos look amazing; I can't believe we have almost twice the average rival crop yield and mfg (and 40% more than rival best crop+mfg), two more cities than anyone we've met, and with Stonehenge in and Pyramids due next turn.

On the island I prefer to hook sheep before marble:

1) It's a better tile to work.
2) We don't need marble yet.
3) It's faster to improve.
4) Having marble show up in our trade screen will give away information we may as well keep to ourselves if possible.

That makes sense. I guess we can do the silver after the sheep, too.

I just grew our cities, I'm sure we can put a city e.g. 3SW of Ganymede though.

Got it.

As pictured above, we finished the Pyramids. Not much else interesting happened this turn. Sian moved his warrior to near Io; we might have to whip a unit there (start it next turn, then whip).

We're exploring with three empty galleys. I turned the one by Mackoti around, as we couldn't bluff more with it anyway (it was in range of his city last turn).

Speaking of Mackoti, he has founded an island city. We can tell because he has marble - must have founded on it.

I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Thank You.

Someone has 84k power - that's either too much or too little, too late. Although I suppose Iron Working can account for some of it.

Since we have graphs of everyone but Sian and Fierce, I can safely say it's one of those two. I'd guess Fierce.

Two people we've met know Iron Working now. I guess that's probably Luddicator (as good as known) and Sian (doesn't look like the others' power graphs support having gotten it, though of course you can't know for sure).

Also, Hinduism spread to Mackoti's city of Sparta. Hopefully he embraces Hinduism as his state religion.
