You need to get *all* the prereqs for sorcery (divination, alteration, necromancy, elementalism) before you can bulb it with a GS. At quick speed, GS gives 1000 + (3*total pop) beakers. Total pop is the sum of the sizes of all your cities.

No - unfortunately not. I think the GS bulb list is as follows iirc:

1 - Arcane Lore
2 - Alteration
3 - Pass through the Ether
4 - Divination
5 - Elementalism
6 - Necromancy
7 - Omniscience
8 - Sorcery
9 - Strength of Will
10 - Knowledge of the Ether
11 - Animal Husbandry

Sigh. No idea where i'm going to get that sort of money, to be honest. If Mackoti does attack me T120 i'm screwed.

On the other hand, i've been Eye-ing the borders, and i don't see any sort of buildup. A chariot or two though.

Edit: And i can't ask for a NAP extension. If I do that he'll know i'm scared of him. I'm hoping that my mass of adepts might scare him off.
