Astronaut without sin confounds press, invites trio to control civilization

Wow, that's turning into quite some beaker lead, although it takes the bulb to get you ahead of mackoti, eh.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Just a few notes on worker actions. We have 3 workers NW of the horses, and 1 worker on the banana. We can move the three workers to the pigs on t73, chop the jungle t74, build a pasture t75, and on t76 two of them can board a galley for Callisto island, and one can move SE to farm/chop the jungle E of Luna.

The worker on the banana roads it t73-74, and is joined by another worker from the Io area on t74 to clear the jungle (done t75) and then build a plantation (t76-77). The two remaining workers in the Io area will plantation the dyes. The worker on the flood plains on North Island can board a galley once the cottage is done, and disembark on the hill 3W of Io, and road it in time for a settler from Europa to arrive.

We can tech Iron Working->Calendar->Metal Casting on t73-75, or Iron Working->Metal Casting->Calendar. Teching Calendar before Metal Casting doesn't seem strictly necessary, but I don't think we need Metal Casting before t76 either, since our monastery cities will be building another round of missionaries before forges.

Oh sure, but that was a mere 470 beakers. It's quite a scary lead on the bottom teams.

We don't get Iron. (Yet.) We'll need violence, trade, a metal pop, or overseas deposits to get any.

But who cares? This is a happy occasion! We invent philosophy and proclaim a golden age of space observation and moon celebration.

Here are the most affected cities - four to make a GP and the last with Moai. Callisto grew to size 12 this turn as it has to wait up for Ganymede a bit anyway. Next turn we'll go full-on scientists though.

Demographics look pretty nice, and of course GPP don't show up here. smile

And cats. Can be like a classic assault like vs AI. Who needs mounted units?

Would be good to see an F1 screen post golden age, revolt and GP allocation. Up to 14 cities is impressive. Mackoti still on 11.

Just the 5% culture on that northern iron tile. You reckon you are too far behind to catch up without a Great Artist?

Without one, definitely. We're about 350 culture behind and losing ground by another 35ish every turn. At 50 culture we'll reduce the deficit to ~20/turn (it also goes up because Colossus' culture doubles soon) but there's just no way we'll get the per turn numbers positive let alone the accumulated total. I don't even know if a culture bomb there would do much.
