I think you're seeing a checked-out, depressed Gaspar here, when ya don't care, you'll just be brusque and do whatever. The man seems bummed in most his games right now, actually.
To be fair, I'm bumping up against him as well. Just the nature of he map, I suppose.
Trying to pump as many courthouses as I can, the EP situation calls for it as well as the ugly-huge maintenance. Lake Manticoria is still growing and infra-ing. Once Mermaid completes its courthouse next turn, I'll have the 6 needed for the Forbidden Palace. Centaur is working on a GS, due in less than ten turns.
It's not much now, but once I hit the GA button I'll be looking to run several cities in Caste/Pacifism to push more GPs. Minotaur is about to start accumulating some GE points, might as well have some of the pool full when the Renaissance Golden Age string gets started.
Should be some fun Civin', at least.

Well, perhaps more of a turn report may follow in a bit, mostly just standard infra stuff and building up longbows in potentially Mackoti-hit areas. For now, spend a while in peaceful contemplation, noting that I am neither Mackoti nor Gaspar:
On the plus side, I can peacefully build for a while now, and I can tear TT a new one when turn 120 rolls around if I want.

Can I get an overall international update? Sounds like your NAP With Mackoti is about to run out?

Eh, there's not a ton to talk about, internationally. The Mackoti-NAP is about to run out, but Sloth here (me) isn't too worried about things. The best shot Despair (Gaspar) has at winning is if Rage (Mackoti) hits me. Obliviousness (TT) is still truckin' roughly an era behind us. It's really not profitable for me to try to hit Mackoti either, though, what with units like that.
Here's a nice overview shot from a two turns ago, gives a general impression of my extra prickliness though. We really are in the weird position of any player having more than enough to launch a spaceship with just the quarter given.
As you can note from above, I went ahead and settled the very definition of a filler city, able to work several farms, two lighthouseable lake tiles, and a shared plains cow for production.
And yes, that is me chopping out a granary the turn it got founded. It's 3-tile distance from the capital means that the maint hit isn't, all I gotta do is grow and then work a max of four speciallists.
In related news finally researching Literature means that I'm about to build the National Epic in Naga at long last, and the heroic epic somewhere. It's about time this place got the boost.
Most cities are just plunking away at growing up cottages. Free Speech's profitability point is going to come after about a dozen turns of Emancipation, in other words, in about three dozen turns.
There is one place that will really pop once Biology rolls in. Ironworks spot, anyone? Ironically, I still have yet to grab back the lower mine, Moon River down there much be some kind of cultural monster.
Why the religious stuff going down all over? Well, seems like it made sense to double down. My AP+UoS temples and monasteries are pretty sweet now. Might grab the Spiral Minaret just for completeness' sake.
We're all at least gruntled here.

right on!
Thanks for the update, do you know anything about others' NAPs? Gaspar and Mack don't talk about fight club. what about Mack and TT?

No clue, although I wouldn't be shocked if both were in the 130-150 range to end. Yeah, it's nuts.
On the subject of fillers and the players who love them, here's a hole in my dotmap that needs something. My options are on the forested plains hill or the grassland 1W of it. Basically, if I'm on the PH then I'll be farming the grassland, working 4 grassland farms and two specialists at max size (in addition to the mined other hill), but probably whipping. If next door on the grassland, then it'll just be coast and the two mines at max size while working a couple farms. Both cases it's a pretty classical "just filler" spot, but worth it, I think.
I might not have recaptured the mine at Sphinx still, but I've flipped a peak, which gives me vision on TT, only now in Bureau. I think I need to capture this land just to save the poor citizens from this mismanagement.
I might sneak a missionary into Reach, pretty soon, my monster shrine needs more money. Hinduism is almost as well-followed as Judaism, and should in fact surpass it once I convert the remaining western cities plus fillers.
What is the with-shrine chance of auto-spread? I haven't seen one in two dozen turns.

It tapers off very quickly with distance from the holy city. For far away cities it could be as little as 0.1% chance every turn.
Seven posted about it in our PBEM23 spoiler thread. I can't give a spoiler-free, generalized version, because I'm not sure if his formulas are specific for the PBEM23 map settings or not. Anyway, for non-PBEM23-players:

Oh and I assume you know this, but the chance is 0 for cities that already have a(nother) religion.
I have to run.

Thanks Novice! So the fillers should get it soonishly, but otherwise the distant "real" sites will be waiting a long time before it naturally spreads, and Confucianism/Christianity are also possible out in the wild west.
Which I guess is somewhat less than wild, now. Even the most filler-y of them, Wyvern, is now a respectable size-8 burg with a solid contribution to the empire. This is your game on builderfest-size maps, folks.
Okay, how do I stop the AI from being massively stupid? You have Moai coast to work, ya moron. And you're assigning the new citizen to being a spy? Really? Both specialist are going to get pushed back to the water while I make a university here, but I want to whip them just for being stupid.
As an aside, boy Mermaid has grown up nice, hasn't she? I love the Moai stones, so nice to have them for longer than ten turns this time around.

So, emphasizing food, I grew. Manticore went up to 19, which will probably be the stagnated size for a long while. This is going to be a proper monster-capital once I finish the mess of universities I just queued up and get Oxford up.
My NAP with TT should be ending fairly soon, so I've been shuffling some longbows into Sphinix to discourage friskiness. Having just got my economy back up again, and resting on the foreign trade from TT, I'm not going to kick anything off myself.
Oxford needs to get built pretty soon, doing great otherwise.
