My apologies I just entered this thread, was using a trackpad (my mouse is broken) and accidently pushed down

Now the other players are bound to wonder why you're posting here.
![]() Edit: And just read your post in the tech thread. Never mind.
I have to run.
as noticed i have chosen England, and are currently wondering about which leader i should pick
contenders in my mind atm is Bishi (Exp/Ind), althrough i need a wee bit of handholding using Ind proberly Cathy (Cre/Imp), aiming at monster expanding and prehaps even early Alphabet to limp to Currency Washington (Exp/Cha) aiming at bigger cities At one point i prefer Cathy, but given my selfadmitted love of Creative, i feel like i should take something else
because Sedora asked in the pick
Lincoln of Aztecs ... i'm a bit miffed ... Lincoln doesn't really have anything looking remotely like a synegy with Aztecs, and Phil vs SA isn't the hottest thing (in hindsight that was probably a major blunder in 26, me building Pyramids, since Rep vs SA have some of the same problems) ... and with Charismatic it seems like he want to go in all directions at once ... big cities and warring with Charismatic, Big 'n Peacefull with Philosophical, and leaning on whipping (hence smaller cities) with SAs. going both SA's and Phil also leans heavily towards betting at getting a food heavy map If Aztecs i'd probably have gone Org for 2 reasons ... its Emperor so its reasonalby good giving reasonable passive bonuses, and SA's is down costing a mere 30hammers able to get online scarily quick ... and passed on Phil ... ...Nappy prehaps?
How does early Alphabet help you limp to currency? Building research? Creative scientists are good limpers and save you the Alphabet research cost.
I have to run.
well ... given that i'm speaking from primarily SP experience where it certainly aren't a bad idea, given that it gives you more land ...
is it sad that i can honestly say that even through the blocks in, i'm not that surprised about the leaderpicks?
slowcheetah - Ramessess II of China China is no doubt a strong Civ, but Rams, i'm not so sure about given that Bishi was allready in, lowering the worth of Industrious, althrough with their UU, Metal Working should be taken reasonably early, so Forges should be online quite early, leaving it less gimped, given that he's a new player i have no clue how strong he is Sian - Catherine of England Admittedly not the best Synegy, but Given that we have nearly no clue about the map i thought i would take something solid that can be tweaked into covering the needed bases ... Creative and Imperialistc for earlygame REX, Fishing for if seafood start, and Redcoats for if we get that far Twinkletoes - Washington of Maya Looking like a gambit hoping for little/no happiness to be honest, so his bigger cities have that much more punch ... if its a happyheavy map through theres not much to come for other than the expansive and the nonmetal spear, for deterring early horses attacking Serdoa - Lincoln of Aztecs Allready mentioned earlier TMIT - Bismark of Mali A often used combo it appears ... except for the antirush Skermishers and the fast Mints (and Expansive being strong as it is), could anyone tell me the gig that makes this combo so used? ... bit weakened by slowcheetah picking Industrius as well ... from my knowlegde the strongest player in this batch is probably TMIT (going primarily from his SP experince on Civfan), noone else looks from what i can see as very scary people
Here's your start, barring last-minute changes:
