OK, after my email goof yesterday I got the save early today, with exciting never before seen lands (commodore gooffed as well).

I considered moving to get both the rice and the sheep in the big fat cross, but I wanted that first worker out faster. The capital will now focus on early game production instead, and has plenty enough mines to do that well.
My initial tech path will probably be Myst-BW-The wheel, I went Myst first to put some pressure on stonehenge, so anyone who wants it either has to build it hurtfully fast, or is put off by the IND guy going Myst first (assuming they are doing C and D, saying this I realise that I dont know how to tell if Myst is the first tech yet, so I may need to look into that). I also wont need slavery or chopping until after the rice has been farmed, particularly due to my instinct telling me to use my one choppable tree on an IND boosted wonder, rather than a chopped double worker start.

I've definitively found coast but unfortunately no more resources as of yet, I'm going to scout towards the spice river next.

As for future plans, I'm almost certainly going to go for an early stonehenge. I had a quick play in worldbuilder (hadn't realised how frustrating drawing rivers is in the damn thing, corners are an absolute nightmare), and I can get 'henge on turn 21, and a total of two workers, three warriors and a settler produced by turn 30. I only chopped one forest because I want to keep the remaining two in my capitals BFC for health reasons (forest went into henge).

Border pop, and Sian's score went up by 6 points, it's been 4 turns so I guess he discovered fishing? Screenshot to come later.

Screenshot of my lands- Pretty much confirms it's a donut with coast either side, seeing as that's what was requested I'd been assuming that anyway.

I think my first settler is going to settle for the sheep or the fish, I'm leaning towards the fish, an exploratory workboat would be sweet.

Not a whole lot going on today, and I found GES and Darrells excellent dotmapping system. So I did a very, very preliminary dotmap.
My first settler will be heading towards fish city, this will give me a strong port city in the early on (noones capital is coastal), and allow me to get some scouts out around the donut, and make some contacts. I'll probably put moai there at some point, although with my current tiny happy cap there is no point doing that for a while.
I'm hoping to find some food near purple dot, which looks like a strong commerce location, and will be on a hill in case of early attack. If i find food, I will probably settle here second.
Third city will probably go up near the sheep, and looks to be fairly good commerce wise as well.
I will probably use the corn city as a secondary production/port site, and I dont have a thorough idea of what I'm going to do with the cows so I left that location undotted for now.

What about 3S1E of the capital? It picks up the cows and shares the rice to get up and running quickly.

Ooh Lurker comment ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) . 3S1E looks good, it should have reasonable production, I can see it being used as a military pump, probably be my fourth city depending on how aggressive my neighbours are being. Cheers oledavy

Turn 6 played, my people are now technologically capable of building stone circles. Bronze working was selected as the next technology. I also met Serdoa, his scout (phew) was one NE of the cows, I sent him a brief message. Didn't really have any deals to offer him, so I just let him know that his scout could pass via the north or south of my capital, and that south was probably the fastest.
