Luddite and I finished up our turn and sent it off today; with mackoti's message we knew we had some time.

We also would like to congratulate Fierce on a noble last stand. Your troops fought well before finally succumbing. GG, and we hope to see you in another game soon!

Good game, Fierce.
I have to run.

(In before the body gets cold)

I removed Fierce from the forwarding rules, the tracker now forwards Yuri's saves to Luddicator. I also removed Lewwyn, Ichabod and Spaceman from the rules, since they're not really playing.

I've sent an updated php file to Mist - meanwhile the tracker page will display Fierce as having the save when it's with Luddicator.
I have to run.

Ah, I was hoping to make it a few more turns. Oh well, I defended one team off but two was overpowering. Good game all!

Hi all, bug problem here which I think is worth bringing up.

We are at peace with Luddicator as of this turn. This means they accepted the deal we offered of 10t peace treaty for a certain city or cities. However, we did not receive any cities!

This occurred because of buggy diplo due to PBEM player order oddities: Mackoti proposed a peace deal with them first, including one or more of the items we requested, and they accepted it. I assume that after accepting this deal, the deal with us simply had the city portion removed, and became a straight peace treaty. (Or maybe it still displayed but had no effect.)

I did not offer a straight peace and I don't think we should let this stand. It's too big of an impact in PBEM games, especially no-talking ones, if players can end up making trades they never agreed to, and receive many hundreds of gold worth of stuff less than they proposed. I think we should definitely rule this a bug worthy of roll-back for future cases. That leaves this case.

My proposal to is we roll back to Luddicator's turn. They can decline all their diplo popups on the first save-opening - we already covered this earlier in this tech thread. Then they can decide which set of NON-MUTUALLY-EXCLUSIVE deals they wish to accept.

Opinions?

(Or perhaps Luddicator already did this, and it turns out we'd accidentally proposed a different peace offer, and my whole post is mistaken?)

I agree with everything you said.

[If we collectively think this is worth fixing:]

Novice pointed out to me that if Luddicator wants to accept the other peace offer I proposed, there is no need to replay anything; we can just complete the terms of that proposal by additional trades in-game. (The 1-2 turn delay is not a big deal.)

Sorry, but those are the risks of trying to do real estate transactions in a war zone.
