And, to clarify, the peace they accepted cannot be cancelled?
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Not until 10 turns from now.
I have to run.

Luddicator seem to have a pretty flawed understanding of the game situation.
I have to run.

Our real GNP was getting a bit too close to zero recently so we decided to improve it a bit. We are indeed making about 400bpt at breakeven now. Since we were getting about +200 from the last turn of the golden age and had about 400 gold saved, we decided to one-turn gunpowder (using almost no overflow). We had to hire a couple scientists that should ahve been merchants and build two research instead of two gold in Io, but I think it was worth it. Now we can start pumping one-turn 2-promo muskets in Ganymede.
Novice and I decided gunpowder-chemistry was safer than going straight up to rifling (with guilds before gunpowder for the discount) - it means we'll be able to produce a fleet of frigates (and perhaps a few privateers) and once again neutralize most of the threat from Mackoti. We should reach chemistry in four more turns. Only after recapturing naval superiority do we plan to double back and get guilds.
Our tech lead is scary, though I don't have time right now to figure out how scary. Any takers? I'm pretty certain Mackoti's the most advanced rival.
We get another great person in two turns (so t109) - probably a merchant. If it's anything else, maybe we should fire another golden age soon along with the spy?
Here's the score after last turn's peace treaty shenanigans.
And demos. Note, this is after ending turn, so sans golden age enhancement once more.

Forgot to mention I declined OB from Luddicator and asked them for 100g. If they accept we'll forgive them for their in-game dastardliness. (Not the same as the fact that IMO they are displaying poor judgment, sportsmanship and reasonableness out of game. That will stay out of game.)

Yeah, looks like we are about 12-13k beakers up on Mackoti if you count his 461 stored gold. And we're gaining 150-200b more a turn on him.
He does currently have better land with the four cities Luddicator gave him for peace, and he probably has twice as much potential land in the ocean as we had access to, because the map is unfair. :neenernee But I don't think that will have time to matter. We're getting 400b/turn right now (though we are in ideal civics at the moment) and with a great merchant or golden age incoming, we can get another 1200+ beakers for free.
Chemistry will take 4t.
Monarchy-Feud-Guilds will take 4t.
Banking-Replaceable Parts-Rifling will take maybe 8 more.
The great merchant (if it is one) would save us 3t.
Or maybe we just get Steel and whip an army of cannons. They're only two pop each with the Kremlin (less with Forges/Police State of course), and we get drydocks too. Steel would take 6t.
Also note we'll get another GP from Io about 20t from now (edit: not true since we won't be in caste the whole time). Let's make sure we own the Mausoleum by then.

Thanks!
I'm feeling better and better about just grabbing steel. We can fill up a bunch of galleons with cannons and muskets and a couple pikes, and land them on hills next to key mackoti cities. The best case for him attacking our stacks is literally 50% odds with a C2 knight vs a Cannon. And unless he suicides catapults into our cannon-heavy stack it's going to be worse than that - knights fighting pikemen or muskets, or shock/pinch knights fighting higher-strength cannons. Athens (GLH), Thebes (Mausoleum), and several other of his coastal cities all have hills next to them.
And we'll have complete naval dominance once again with frigates, and by the time he can get his own we'll have drydocks to make them faster and with more promotions.
So a possible plan: tech Chem-Steel with the help of a merchant. Stay in these civics until Kremlin is done, then revolt to Police State / Nationhood / Slavery / State Property / Theocracy. Whip/draft an insane military and go fulfill spaceman's request.

Woo hoo!
Needless to say: this gets my vote. It's tempting to wait for Rifling, though, for a unit which has odds on everything everyone else has got. That could be done in 13 turns, right? You can be building frigates and cannons in the meantime.
