Agreed, it is unfortunate that the end of the game didnt get reported well enough to get a picture of the events.
Also agreed, TT has acquited himself well in this late game. If nothing else, he has been loyal to your relationship and proved your military gifts were well spent.
Your death camps look pretty good, I wonder when Gaspar will start asking about the artist boom.

Heh, well, he's pretty mad as it is about one of those death camps already.
Ugh, poor guy, stealing a lot of tiles there. I need to move the bulk of my worker force to Faun to turn those towns into workshops and watermills, the incidental culture needs to stop. At least our workshops and watermills are better now.
Yep, this odd combination of civics is going to be the Mongolian Way from here on out. US for rushing and production in the towns, Free Speech for culture, Caste for artist death camps, SP for costs and production, and Pacifism for those Great Artists.
Naga is going to be a great producer in the end here, I think. Faun and Mermaid will each squeeze out an artist (maybe two in Mermaid's case) and then it's pure Naga time!
Now, let's just hope that Gaspar waits a while longer before calling the Artist's Gambit to a close. His infantries are rolling off the lines even now, so it's looking a bit scary.
On the plus side, just 4 turns to steel!

I think you should start every post with the number of turn to victory. Like the 'magic number' in baseball.

Yup, the sprawling death camp of Faun produced our fifth artist, welcome to the world Mr. Pablo Picasso!
All this culture pushing is dropping pop but upping land area, Bede wants everyone to know how big Mongolia has gotten! I fully expect Gaspar to snap soon as his city near Faun is about to flip.
How to fix this? I don't care about Faun except as a means to an end, but she's got a big old population and a nice food surplus, ideally I'd like to try and squeeze one more artist out of her before gifting her to Gaspar for peace or whatever.
Gaspar's pretty capable of laying some wastage there. Look at me, above, now look at you, now look at me again, now look once more at you...galleon forces of marines are hard to turn away. I think I need some Frigates, as well as canon of my own.
I dropped Steel down to three turns by hiring another scientist in Basilisk. It starved them a little, naturally, but compared to some cities this place gets off easy. Once Steel comes in it's Merchants in any non-deathcamp, got to keep those costs down.
Although at the current burn rates, the Mackoti NAP runs out before the gold does. Another GS, really Mack? At this rate he's going to have a fourth GA before long...which will enable him to keep up with Gaspar's still-excellent science rate for long enough. "Tanks" says Mackoti.
Less a countdown, Ceil, because it's reliant on some very dirty GPP pools, but I'll keep counting up progress.

You got 5 artists. Did you need 8? What does you F1 screen look like, sorted for GPP?

I think it's actually 9 or 10 artists, thanks to the laggardly performance of Sphinx. Good news is, Naga is good for two more, maybe three...if the third is in 20 turns. Not sure if I can hold out for five turns of Mack/Gaspar.
I'll show the F1 next turn, any other requests anyone?

Win the "diamond dimensia" achievemnt: Capture the gems city back on the last turn, before you hit EOT and win the game.

Ha. Hah. Yeah.
Also, in case anyone was feeling good about Gaspar's inability to boat along the strip up north, found something new. As he's piling extra units in his pressured city to avoid flipping, I think I'm on his unhappy list above Mack right now.
Never mind. Check out my possibly game-winning super stack! I need to check for military science, actually...Mack hitting me with commando would make me seriously sad.
I know who else is seriously sad...this populace! Poor Shedu. With the starve to size six I'm swapping it back to max food for a little regrowing, stealing lakes and the cows actually gives it the idealish +6 worked surplus, so it should be a quick recovery.
Here's the F1. Next artists are from Naga, then Faun, then Shedu, then finally Naga again. 15 turns, guys, until the hammer really comes down from Mack. Sphinx might pop one more in its own final starvation artist push.
Hoy these guys get expensive.

The culture push, by the way, makes for some impressive looking numbers. Weird that despite starving all these guys I'm still second in pop and they really, really love me. Must be my charisma.
Lots of once-thriving towns have been paved over too, which is why my MFG is climbing. Check out those hammers! I'm still debating if I'm going to sink any more hammers into another tech or just wealth/military from here on out.
The only towns we're keeping are nothing but art factories. Manticore is easily the best of the outputers, although Gryphon is within a nose. If I can last until Turn 170 (five turns post-NAP) they each will need only one artist, actually. This would free up six(!) for Sphinx, which would be enough easily. Need ten GAs to be absolutely sure to get things by 166 though.
Shedu, with a nice big pool nearly full, is pausing to regrow and then will push out the next-to-last one post-haste. Poor abused city.
Faun, swinging in the breeze if Gaspar decides to snap, will be starving down to size eight or so before regrowing to starve again. I'm not entirely sure about this one, I have some dirty pools elsewhere I might opt to take a chance on instead.
Gaspar is a clever man. See how primitive I am Mr. Mackoti? I use galleys to ferry stuff.
Heh. Yeah right.
One of these days I want to be the guy with a tech edge and combustion warships planning an offensive war.

You'll get your chance, I have no doubt.
