I've been reading up on PBEM19 where yuris and Maestro got Oracle on t33 with better conditions than us: Industrial/Financial and an early sheep on a river for a whooping 3 commerce, in addition to plains copper on a river at the expansion. I think we're on to something good here

It is now 2920 BC in the Korean empire, the oracle plan continues apace although there has been a slight setback due to someone else founding buddhism back in 3040bc. We think it was probably Sian, which probably means he doesn't have BW yet.
In exploration news we are tantalisingly close to Magellans: slowcheetah Wrote:there has been a slight setback due to someone else founding buddhism back in 3040bc. Ouch, you were so close! That's ok, there's 7 religions for 4 people, I'm sure you can get something.
Commodore mentioned finding bronze and killing Kuro combining together to make beautiful music. Want to listen to the song?

Has the mapmaker reached down from the heavens to meddle in the affairs of cats? Ceiliazul Wrote:Commodore? Has the mapmaker reached down from the heavens to meddle in the affairs of cats? Only to suggest BLOOD. MORE BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! Khorne be praised.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
Unfortunately for you lurkers, I maaaaaay have been being a bit of a war tease. There's too much land left to settle for all out war.
Although Kuro is holding the save for 40 hours plus lately, maybe oracle metal casting and go and pillage his nets with triremes? Catwalk, I'm serious about the net pillaging, it may be petty but we Cats do like fish (and vengeance). I also googled Khorne, and though he may only be mere centimetres in height, it's probably wise to appease someone like him.
I'm not opposed to some minor warfare after completing the Oracle and a forge. I will want to be certain we benefit personally from it, though. How does harming Kuro a bit benefit us more than it benefits Sian and xenu? As you say yourself, there's a lot of land to settle and it'll generally be easy to defend. IMO our short-term post-Oracle focus should be on securing a silver in the tundra. Each silver is contested among two players. Did I post the logs of my discussions with xenu about the silvers? He was planning on grabbing the one between the two of us because it's 1 tile closer to us. The one between us and Sian is difficult to grab with a proper city, so we really need the one down by xenu. I've suggested to him that he would do well to grab Kuro's silver.
