The Hanging Gardens race: WON!
Chariot completed scouting of the Arabian core recently, bringing good news: AdHoc has not been slow-building anything big. EP analysis shows NONE of my opponents have over 50 hammers in any boxes. (I don't have Catwalk's cities yet, but he lacks Masonry.)
In other news, two new cities are on final approach, both in Sumerian territory. Toro, to the North, will help me turn the corner on Ad Hoc in this region. VoltArc, to the South, is currently a reach city, but will be my Forbidden Palace site shortly. Triple food and 5 grass hills there!

Commodore's worker corps are ready to prove their worth. Along with a Hanging Gardens pop boost, these cities are going to ROCKET onto the scene.
Meanwhile Catwalk is up to something shockingly good. Take a look at the scoreboard above...
Calendar in 2 turns?!
Pardon while I pick my jaw off the floor... He spent last turn researching Calendar, so it'll really be a 3 turn tech for him. It took me 4 turns, is he teching faster than me?? You know, he told me in chat that he was
building a lot of wealth. I'm still not sure how to spot wealth builds, but I figure he's bent his whole civ to this research. It's good news: he's NOT building settlers, courthouses or workers.
Wait a minute,
is he trying to race to the Mausolleum?? I think I'm well placed on that front. By the time he finishes calendar, Biohazard will have another Plains-hill mine, and the build time will be 5 turns. I don't think he can put out 60h per turn for 5 turns. What if he suddenly discovers a micro fetish and plans a lot of chops? No, not even then. His chops are only worth 20h each... By the time he can start the build I'll have over 100 hammers into the build, and still enjoying my 1.75 hammer multiplier.
The t87 Golden Age plan is a go.
Oh, and useless MFG trivia:
35h Biohazard net hammers, with 1.75x the base
28h Pegasus' entire civ (not counting any libraries/temple bonuses)
