We're getting very close to nabbing circumnavigation.

IMO, I'd say the best use for it ATM is in your north. We don't really know if anyone else is over there yet, and ensuring we claim it would be nice. Only other use is a bomb on someone's border, which while nice probably isn't that crucial right now (plus I think there'll be other Artists for that right?).

Best time for me would probably be when I can time a civic swap in the GA that I would want to do anyway, so that would be either when I switch to Nationhood, Rep or maybe later then that at SP or so. If your not getting one yourself, I think that you would benefit more from a GA though due to increased GPP and bigger empire.

I don't particularly see myself going into Nat until we have rifles (muskets are great and all, but I don't think they're terribly worth drafting, not at the expense of bureaucracy) so probably not until that point.

Either someone else has already claimed it or there is no bonus on the map. I doubt it's the former as there should've been a global announcement so it's probably the latter, although I have no idea why circum isn't allowed on this map. Perhaps it's something to do with sequential turns?
