Sure I am. I had an opinion about PBEMs, but never I though it is 100% right and that's why I do ask - to have a new opinion or changed one, as I may be overlooking something good and worthy.

Or someone else. I will just say yes - you dont talk about cheating, but cheating do exists. I have met players (well established, respected and actually very nice guys when chatting and so on), who cheat. And not only in a minor 1vs1 game (if there is such thing like minor game, as each and every game deserves to be played well, if not for yourself, then for the other guys investing time and efforts in the game), but in a nice 6 teams demo-game, which involves more than 100 players participating in the teams. I wont say his nick, as this is not my goal to impose him, but this guy was the turnplayer for an enemy team and he cheated. Shenanigans as you call it, but he did loged again after us in the pitboss (the rules allow anyone to log in and look, but not touch anything if it is not their turn) and he was used to move units to react to our moves. We finally caught him with screenshots which we sent to the admins who deleted the offending units, but he still refused to be cheating - he started to call the admins chickens, to call us cheaters - that we photoshopped the proofs and so on absurds. And this is from absolutely nice and till then reliable many-years player who is still active and do plays in other games and so on... So, yes, cheating do exists. Sad, but true
If I come in new town and ask some local people is it safe to leave my car on the street during the night, I am not trying to insult them or call them burglars, I am only trying to conform and adapt to the place

I knew you will say this. But have you looked it from another perspective? That I do hate cheaters so much, that I would never play in a game where cheating is possibility? If I was cheater myself, wouldnt it be far more logical and actually very fitting to my goals to actually do play PBEMs, as it will allow me to cheat at will?
I was thinking all this to be a PM to you to not flood the thread, which is supposed to give newcomers first glance, but then I though that some others can be insulted from what I said too and they need to read my explanation. Also if I did not said anything, then someone could decide I am indeed used to cheating myself.

Thanks a lot for the explanation about the pace of the PBEMs - I might consider trying out one.
I didn't mean to get so heated, but as I was writing it I started to do my thing. For me it was simply that the first thing you asked was about cheating at our site and I tend to take things personally, get emotional. Knew it when I wrote it, but left it. Now you know exactly how I feel though.
