I know I am out of the loop a bit right now, but I would say pillager for both your names, and then recruit up a 'normal' gobbo to be a wolf rider

well it turns out playing your turns only helps move the game along if you post them
![]() initial reaction we realy like goblins this round Don't worry alot of them die ![]() ![]() okay red has lost almost all of its meat tanks so eep aka red needs to start falling back using the mp of wolves to get the hell out purple needs to move faster and get the hell down there will its wave of units The save because I forgot somthing ofc green get them back also as hp seems to be their missing quality ultimatly I held but the exchange has not been good I hope somone can turn this around for us
Were any of our gobbos able to reach the wagon? That is what we need, to convert our pathetic spear guys into slightly less pathetic thundergobbos. Sadly the wagon is placed so that it was quite a trek to get to it, and the saurians have good movement (along with their good everything, pretty much) so I doubt we made it.
I'll do that with the purple forces. This is what i would have done anyway: buy time with red to get purple fighting. I'll see what i can do, but don't expect a mermen miracle...
If I'm not mistaken, you can recruit thundergobbos later in the campaign. I'm not 100% sure, but I remember thinking the same thing (get some thundergobbos for later) and realizing I was wrong later.

I've looked at the save. I'm lost.
Any suggestions on what i should do? I can't fight on, since the i'm losing. However, i can't retreat either, since we're all slow goblins against super fast saurians. Neither can i bunker up, since they have healing/magical. The one thing i can think of is running Eeep away, while sacrificing every other red troop. That means the wolves, the bat, the wolf riders.... But that seems to high a cost.
I don't have any ideas either. When I started this map and saw how many saurians the enemy was recruiting, and from their money left estimated how many they would get...I don't know what to do. We could have recruited wolf riders rather than basic gobbos, but that would have meant having about half as many units overall. And I did not think that was going to work.
They are faster than we are, tougher than we are, have healing and magical attacks, and have almost as many troops total (when things started, probably a lot more now after fighting). ![]() |
