Thanks! That got me so pumped up I decided to show my worker micro!
Basically the workers are in 2 teams. Workers 1-1 & 1-4 are getting Piranha Plant up and running: pasture sheep, run straight to wheat, cottage, cottage, and then camp the deer. If I'm lucky enough for a forest growth over the deer we'll just skip T59's partial cottage and use the turn to move right onto the trees. (Please grow me a forest, RNG! You have 9 turns!)
Workers 1-2 & 1-3 are finishing the cow for Hammer Bros and then roading east to the more important city. (Nominations for our next city's name? I'm thinking "Blooper" since it has a nice double entendre to go with how far I'm reaching in an AW game Or maybe I should save water-based enemies for coastal cities?) But 1-3 is going to take some out time for a chop to help finish worker 2-1 in Hammer Bros, then it's going to finish the FP road in time for the settler to make it to the X. 1-2 has some time to make an extra road while it's waiting, and then they both farm the rice.
This means I need both my warrior and my axe to be in the area on turns 57 - 61. We need to guard against any hostile animals, or if Sleeping Moogle decides to send an exploration party through the desert. Good thing I'm making my 2nd axe in the capital right now!
Speaking of the capital, that's where Worker 2-1 goes. Straight out of the gate he's going to move west and chop a tree for the capital's granary. After that I'm not sure. He probably farms the dry rice by Hammer Bros, but if I am feeling risky I'll chop out another worker from Hammer Bros first. Heck, I'm not even sure which tile he's going to chop. If I want to farm the rice or chop out another worker, I'll do the forest plains. If I want to get that plains hill mined for the capital, or road north for a 5th city, I'll move to the plains hill north of the wines.
And that's the worker micro for the next 10 or 11 turns. I'll have to do more of these in the future, just so I'm thinking about what my workers are doign and so I know I have a plan for them!

Alternate: Spiny, as it "don't tread on me"
That worker micro looks really well presented, I like it!

If you had to pick one demo to be leading at this stage, you made a good choice!

Oh man, I love playing with Lewwyn right now. See [strike]demo[/strike] diplo thread.
Yes, let's get my neighbors pointed in other directions. Sunrise, you worry about Rome. Moogle, watch out for that slowcheetah. Nothing to see around China
Although, I don't have any land to compare with the screenshot he posted. I will have to expand through one of them eventually. But let's fill up the good stuff we have in peace first.

Turn 054
Not a whole lot going on in my little corner of the globe. In fact, I still don't think anybody's scouted to my borders yet, but I am nicely tucked away. My next cities will be northwards, so that won't last forever.
Got lucky last turn with the scout. He ended his turn next to a lion and the lion did not attack. Maybe SleepingMoogle has a warrior in the fog to the east? Or maybe the lion chose to walk away; I did not want to tempt fate. In fact, I probably should heal him up a few more turns.
Demos still look good: with the wheat farm finished I'm now #2 in crop & #2 and mfg. Sunrise is #1 overall for crop.

Turn 056
In my ever-conscious attempt to emulate Devo, this was the turn to bring out the whip. First in Piranha Plant where we started a granary last turn:
And then in Goomba, where we finished our settler:
After snapping both pictures, I gave the corn back to Goomba and had Piranha work the wheat + sheep.
I had a decision to make at Hammer Bros and decided to start up the 6th worker. Nobody has scouted our borders yet, so I'm going to ride this farmer train as long as I can.
Some post-whip demographics. Things aren't as pretty as they were last turn:
We saw our first barbarian warrior this turn. It is somewhere around where our 4th city is going to be planted, but our axe in the area should keep us secure.
And on a personal note, I have found employment! Only part time, but it's in the office of a solar & wind power company, so I can feel like I'm helping to save the world while I fight with the printer.

Congrats on the new job.
Empire / stats are looking good ... Have you yet developed what to do over the next 20 turns?
I am asking because I have never played such a big MP and it would be interesting to know your thinking, if you don't mind to share...

Thanks for the well-wishes. It's a big relief to finally find employment.

It's funny you mention this because I realized I was nearing the end of my current plan and was telling myself I needed to start a new one. So as soon as I get it up I will share. I think this being an AW I won't have the luxury of planning so far in advance as I would like. But I do have a general idea of what the cities are going to do. Goomba has great early production and will do most of my early troops. Hammer Bros is equally suited for production. Piranha Plant will be my great person farm one day, but for now it is going to grow onto lots of cottages. And the new city will be a bit of a hybrid: cottages by the river but plenty of hills.
Now I know my homework for tomorrow: figure out a plan for the next 15-20 turns
