so I ended up playing 2 sets because the first 3 turns were geting out of the forrested starting area.

I hope our goblin friend has some tricks up his sleave because there are alot of units we need to "Sneak" past

as an after thought we started ont he team with 20 units and the other side had 18 units. So those two leaders are kinda ballanced unit wise.

How difficult does reaching the sign post look? With only three units (and one of them far to the west) I don't see us being able to fight our way through much resistance.

besides the 2 of our units in the north section there is 5 Allied units so we should be able to break through depending on the Ai ofc.

So i went ahead and played till i hit the signpost.

Notice the wording about Eeep... and i checked, looks like Francois doesn't have new gold, and about 3 units total.

Haphzard, you have my permission to finish this stage if he doesn't get extra gold / reinforcements.

OK, I should be able to look at this later today. We moved all the way across the map, now we move all the way back again. And most of our wonderful gold hoard gets destroyed by the 40% rule.

You can just recruit all the loyal units and finish.... we'll still have like 500-600 left actually. Not to mention 10 levels worth of upkeep instantly being paid.

Oh and before i forget.... i lost the rat =( Clammie was being chased, so i used Greta as a distraction... it didn't go so well.

Six turns played. The other leaders just got an event and a cash infusion, so I am wrapping up my turnset here.

I recalled our loyal units, including Eeep and Misris, plus I recruited a few bats for village grabbing and speed. We finished off Francois' minions, and I managed to get a kill each for Misris and for our augur. Need about 3 more XP on the augur, but he is fragile so be careful.

As the Archduke's units and Eeep approached Francois' keep, his Sergeant realized the "assassin" he killed earlier was really My Blydd and that Clammie was the real assassin. The Sergeant now has the bomb and is supposedly going to head for the Archduke's keep -- we are required to stop him. I say supposedly because the sergeant is busy fighting the Archduke's troops and not going anywhere. Be careful -- we got a warning that the Sergeant will explode when killed! So finish him with an expendable unit, or someone with plenty of HP. Or better yet, let the archduke's troops kill him.

Francois and the Archduke each got 100 fresh gold from the "realized who the true assassin is" thing, and have recruited a group of fresh troops. We currently control every village on the map. Eeep and the archduke's units are near Francois' keep; the rest of our people are still a bit away. Misris is healing but is close to full strength again.

Anyway now back to the parts that matter

I killed Mr. backstabber
I failed to lvl up Miris but our lizard friend has lvled and provides a nice +8 healing while we keep him.

Oh the bomb delt 10 damage to every unit in what I think was a 3 hex distance. so he managed to hit everything even though I only engaged with one improtant unit

So this new senerio we have saurin allies lizards (under our control) and acual units we can recruit.

I think the gods have heard somones prayers we got so many gifts this senerio.

Oh did I mention we are fighting naga in a ruined city criss crossed with marshs and roads.
