There's a big difference. Though you may consider logins at the 2 hour mark "gamey", at least it sticks to the rules. TT quite clearly broke the rules to gain an advantage, and by a substantial margin (<1 hour after the flip).

Can you imagine that kind of "meh" reaction if I logged in even just a few minutes before the 2 hour mark? Yeah, neither can I.

Slightly different to breaking the since-clarified rule in the middle of an armed conflict, where it actually makes a significant difference.
