Something tells me, it's good to have this thing right about now.

I guess I don't have a problem in the "I will slave my civ into the ground and destroy this city if it's the last thing I do" sense. That said, I've been operating as if the proposal by Dave earlier in the thread for your city 2N of the upper sugar was still in place. Obviously my preference would be to abide by that proposal and my reply (confirming I was OK with the Mali city and would plant my own border city to avoid any overlap). You don't understand, we really need this sugar city. *Waves hand misteriously* We really need it... yuris125 Wrote:Hi HitAnyKey, nice to meet our overseas neighbour! Ah, I was wondering who & when (and if) someone might come visiting from that direction. Very nice to meet you, indeed. Iâll have to hop on in to wave hello when I get home from work tonight. If you are planning continued exploration, I can give you some directions if you so desire. Depending on who you want to meet, there are two options. Though both are likely still a good distance away from where you have most likely come into contact with me. Since the evil Lord Parkin slaughtered the Roadrunner, I lost my only method of meeting other people by land. So meeting one by sea is a welcome change. ![]() SevenSpirits Wrote:I know that Commodore, I've just been trying to give you cover in case you were planning to attack one of your neighbors. I can see quite well you have no units in our land. Seriously though. Fuck everything about the stupid, doomed attack you are attempting. I like you a lot better when you're trying to win instead of just ruin the game for someone else.
Parkin, you sure do like sending your chariots, and now spearmen, this way. I wonder if your other neighbours are plotting to hit you on the otherside. If I were them, I'd be making sure I took advantage of the situation.

If I were them, I'd be making sure I took advantage of the situation. I wanted to weigh in here. Everyone claims "I have PLENTY of units at home, don't bother attacking my other flank despite what I send far afield." Guess what? NO ONE has both plenty of units at home and deployed. One civ has impressive power in this game. Everyone else could I'm sure mount a credible defense OR a credible attack (peaceful Egypt chooses the former option ![]() Now I'm not saying if Civ X has two pillagers in Civ Y's land all of their other cities are wide open. But if someone sends out a real credible stack and their other neighbor has a credible stack of their own I hope they won't be bluffed too easily into fearing using it. You really ought to tone down the persona, I think. Spoiler alert: Nothing has shifted since I've begun subbing on weekends for Xenu. Your enemies are of your own making, I haven't bamboozled some poor green lamb into grudge settling.
