Here at Ether Industries, we believe that the best plan is an incomprehensible doctrine prone to sudden, violent shifts!
That's why our current Strategy reads about as follows:
Having looked at the obscene costs for the mini-towers and wept for a bit, it was decided that Ellimist ought to build them instead of me, since he has lots of hills and some workshops and most importantly of all Godking. Since we (Ellimist) tested & found that whoever builds the Tower of Mastery must own every minor tower as well, Ellmist will have to do all the dirty work.
For my part, I will be saving gold for the next four turns while Ellimist pumps out his 1-turn Paladins. Then I will gift him all of the Alteration manas and he will finish that tower, probably with the assistance of a generous cash-infusion from the Ljosfar.
I can actually tech to an extent even when running 100% gold, thanks to specialists, so I will be researching the Beastmasters tech while this goes on. Subdue Beast Beastmasters behind city walls ought to be able to thwart any werewolf attack, plus Heralds are just badass units.
Popping Feudalism means that after Animal Mastery we'll probably go Stirrups + Warhorses, with the latter tech presumably finishing about when Ellimist starts construction on the Big Win Tower.
