It logs a bunch of stuff at the start of creating a map. It logs "print" statements you put into your map scripts to figure out what the heck is going on. wink If you compile your own mod DLL in debug mode it will log print statements you put there too, IIRC.

I think I'll just turn it off. I haven't been modding in a while.

@sunrise. I'm driving to my parents tonight so I played my turn and moved my scout NW. This seemed in spirit with how you've been directing me so far, but I want to apologize ahead of time since RL stuff may not let me log back in tonight and I didn't want to hold the turn over waiting on directions. Hope I moved the scout to an appropriate location.

Ichabod Wrote:Hey, Moogle. I'm just curious: did I have a chance to take your city if you didn't move first this turn? I'm assuming you moved your axe to attack without the river penalty and used all his movememtn points due to no construction yet. Then you lost the other battles leaving an empty city.

Am I right in my assumption?

Pretty much. That's what you get from trying to move units while eating a sandwich. Glad I decided to check if the turn had rolled before going to bed. smile

For those interested in the Native/German war, Seven seems to be doing well. At least his people seem to like him.

Parkin, for fucks sake, logging in at least 3 times a turn to make sure you can double move me practically every turn is ridiculous. I don't have the time to compete with this shit, and even if I did I wouldn't bother because it's just not worth the effort of scheduling my life around the timer of a game of Civ.

Parkin, you have been warned already. Keep up this shit and we'll just replace you.

Rome, why on earth would you kill a Warrior at two tiles from our borders?

Sunrise, I now see what you mean by their incursions. If your annoyance at Rome's actions reaches critical levels, Mali, at the least, would not stand in your way.

Ilios, your warrior was slipping on some wet stones and we only tried to help him up, but due to the slippery stones our chariots couldn't stop before they rolled over him. Really terribly sorry and all that. lol

On a more serious note: Guys, this is an AW-game, if you don't cover your shit, it will get killed. Deal with it instead of being upset all the time that others don't let you play in your sandbox without interfering. Same goes for Azza, just cover your stuff and all his double-moving won't help - if he is doing it even, no way for me to be certain about that.

And lastly, it might be that because I am Austrian I have a different take on things, but I personally think that your picture and the impliations of it are crossing the line Commodore.

Just lol. Incredible. LP can turn normal people into crazy ones.

LP logged in within 2 minutes of the turn flip again... Just get home from work? How lucky.

It's Sunday evening here. Of course I'm around... huh

Azza, I don't know what you're complaining about, you got incredibly lucky last turn. I hate to imagine what you'd be saying if you lost the 50/50 on your capital - as you had a 50% chance of doing last turn with NO double move at all.

I'm extremely tired of being harangued about this, as if I'm some sort of lower life form around here. Mackseven log in more frequently than me, earlier than me, and later than me almost every turn. They have certainly logged in both sides of Xenu and Commodore every turn for at least the last dozen or so turns. They have also logged in within 5 minutes of the turn flip on at least half of those occasions.

And you know what? That's fine, it's their choice.

You know what the difference is? People don't feel they have the right to constantly harass and bully them about it. They don't regularly encourage them to leave the game over it. And so they shouldn't.

I'm not gaming the clock or trying to deliberately set up double moves. But if I'm around and available and the turn flips, with all due respect, I'm not going to sit around and twiddle my thumbs. And I have a hard time believing that other folks - besides Mackseven - wouldn't do the same thing, once they're actually involved in an exciting major conflict.
