I do not know the answer to that. It's normal, so maybe. I think it depends on your civ size, too, so it will depend on how much you've grown. You might have to sim it to see.

Thanks, guys!
So, we are currently teching Alphabet, because getting MC first would delay the bulbing of Philosophy. Everybody, please, cross your fingers, because we really want this religion! And, to anyone that is asking why Sunrise is currently leading the game: To be fair, our capital isn't that much worst. He has cows, we got copper. But he has more rivers and grasslands and a plains hill plant. I bet the big difference is potential 2-4 city sites, which we didn't have. And the fact that he's a better player.

Like planned, Greed was whipped for a granary. It'll grow back to size 2 in the end of the turn, though, which is pretty nice. I think I'll wait to size 3 to stop and produce another worker, working Corn + Gold + Iron, when possible. Envy resumed growth too. The galley build is a luxury one, so to say. It isn't really needed, but it'll be nice to sail a bit, maybe cause some troubles to our Roman pals to the west. :aar: Demographics: Good Ol' Sunrise has the top GNP, from what it looks like, since he's ahead of the second place. Overview of the lands:
The #1 approval rate in the world will have those egyptians yearning to join your lands soon enough! All you have to do is liberate them!

This would have been a good time to select the "Avoid growth" option in Greed.
I have to run.
Ilios, DaveV, I'm prepared to give up on this game. Just stop playing. It's too annoying and no fun. After I received a PM today from HitAnyKey saying that I should have ended my turn because I had already played and it was my fault that blah, blah, blah + this stupid LP discussion again, I've had it.
I'm only asking you because I don't want anyone to force you guys to play in my place. I know you wouldn't want to, so if you guys say to me that you won't force yourself to play this stupid game in my place, I'll resign. Just waiting for you guys response.
Sorry it's been a bad experience for you, Ichabod. For my own part, I'm not here to prove anything. I play for fun, and I suspect this game wouldn't be any more fun for me than for you. The only other reason to keep playing would be out of an obligation to the other players, but it sounds as though a lot of other players are just as disenchanted as you at the way this fun, casual game has deteriorated into a powergaming contest.

Your posts (both here and in the diplo thread) have been a ray of sunshine in this game. Sorry to hear that you're not having fun anymore. It sucks that this game has deteriorated so fast. I had high hopes for it when it first got started.
