They're not updating much, so I'm sure there's a reason we're not recognizing.

On T3's conundrum - while I think their play to SP/Kremlin was actually the correct one in this situation, I think they'd be crazy to ignore Assembly Line that long. You just cannot compete long-term with an industrialized economy without having one yourself, IMO.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

I thought Quick + Serfdom + Steam Power = 1t roads or railroads

Nope.

Screenshot of Sulla's capital at the current turn for the curious. It's awful quality, since it's a screenshot of his stream, but oh well.

Thoth has a small force advancing towards one of his northern cities (there's like 4 knights and 2 or 3 rifles), railroads really do make it absurdly easy to defend though- he can get units from just about 2/3rds of the cities in his civ to that city in 1 turn once he finishes with his railroads.

Edit:

My best guess at this point is that they're going to position all their artists to bomb the legendary cities up on the final turn. If current rates of culture increase stay roughly the same, and assuming they birth 1-2 more GAs, they're looking at winning the game in the next 13-18 turns. They'll be winning sometime between t192 and t197. I can't emphasize how closely we're cutting it here. This is why we absolutely have to be staged to attack Beijing on t192, even if that means invading a turn earlier. I would feel more comfortable if we were in position for t191, giving us two turns before the earliest possible victory date. We shouldn't do this, if it seriously compromises the strength of our army though. Hopefully it will not be necessary, our army moving through their territory, denying them tiles and increasing costs as they build more military should keep them from hitting the inside mark.
banghead OleDavy how is it you've wildly overestimated how much culture and artists we've got right now, and yet still perfectly nailed the turn we're going to win. If it wasn't for him, we'd win this for sure.

1t roads, but not railroads. Railroads cost 3 worker turns on normal speed, roads cost 2. You don't notice this difference because you always have Steam Power for building railroads.

Poor OleDavy... Doesn't he know that assumptions is the mother of all fuckups? This game is so much down the wire it's unbelievable!

So what are the current estimates of win by culture, and final invasion? Is it both on T192? (Biggest difference in that T2 wins by END of T192, T3 attacks at start of T192)?

It's turn 179 right now right? Therefore by This post Team two is calculating they win on T194.

Team 3 with the barbarians hordes of hell wielding kitchen sinks are attacking on turn T186 or 187 and hope to hit Beijing on T192.

Team 1 and their leisurely strolling group of gentleman adventurers seem to be attacking somewhere between T182-185.

In some ways I'm hoping team 2 doesn't pull it off just to see what the aftermath of this whole thing is. Would team 3 have a big enough stack after everything to do some serious damage to team 1? It'd be even more hilarious if team 4 was able to swoop on Spullla while this whole thing is going on.

Honestly Culture and Space should be disabled in an AW team game. It sounds mean but I hope they get crushed for even trying it.
