So now I'm thinking my tech path is going to be Polytheism, Priesthood, Monarchy, Aesthetics, Alphabet, Construction. Then bulb Engineering. I'm not going to run Pacifism (it'd kill my expenses with all my units) and I don't want to build Angkor Wat so no need to bulb Philosophy. What about a religion? We're going to take Judaism from Moogle.

Are you going to attack him with all those coins you built? Trust me, I know rolls of quarters make good projectiles.

Personally, I recommend a sock full of quarters.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

And I thought for sure I was going to get a gil toss reference there.
Turn 110
Houston, we have a problem.
Or maybe not. The chariot is guarding those workers. If it moves SW-SW I'm in trouble, and it certainly could. But Moogle is guarding those workers. That means the chariot likely goes where the workers go.
But look at the tile. It's mined but has no road. I bet those workers build a road on turn 110, and then on turn 111 they scamper away and the chariot (hopefully) goes with them. That would open up the tile for me to go after Sixpool.
I guess I should mention that it's possible I don't get to double-turn Moogle. He's been playing next-to-last all week and the turn's been flipping between 3am - 5am local time. I am not staying up until 4am (or setting the alarm for 4am) just to double move someone. But tomorrow is Friday, so maybe after going out with friends I hopefully am sober enough to competently double-turn Moogle.
We shall see!
(By the way, never would have even saw that if I hadn't gotten a sentry chariot. I love that promotion!)

I just played my turn with a little over one hour remaining (cutting it a little close, I know), and it looks like Sunrise and Pindicator haven't played their turns yet. As both live in the US (I think!) and it's in the middle of the night there, chances are they may not be able to play their turns in time. Lewwyn hasn't played either, but he lives in a time zone where it's certainly possible for him to play in the next hour.
Moogle's very kind. Makes me feel like an ass. Oh well, let's play the turn now.

Do I go for it? Or do I pillage? I may have to sim, but I'm leaning towards pillaging.

Yeah it's a bit brutal to double move someone who was worried if you'd need a pause...

I'd love to see the sim results. Gut instinct says that unless he had another spear queue'd up for EOT, you should be able to burn the city just fine. Even if each spear kills 2 char, and the archer kills one, you should have 5 to wipe up the remnants.
Also, I've been wondering, instead of building gold did you consider trying for fail gold since you have marble+stone? I don't know the wonder situation well enough to know if there's any viable ones to build right now.

Well, I didn't know he was gonna be nice when I planned it But yeah, it makes the plan feel a bit dirty.
Anyway, I tried about 15 run-throughs and i was able to burn the city once. No, I didn't keep detailed track of the results, but that's because those spears just mop up chariots. I certainly am feeling more secure in my cities with 2 spears...
Maybe I did the sim wrong; I couldn't figure out how to make units fortified in world builder so I just gave them +25% defense with CG2 (but not CG1). Like I said, I was able to kill all 4 units once, killed 3 of 4 units 4 times, and then got slaughtered without killing anything pretty much every other time.
So we pillage. Get the pig and as many cottages as I can before he kills my chariots. Time to raise some funds.

I did not pillage the pig. Maybe we can lure Moogle's spears out and give us a shot at his capital? Unlikely but maybe he'll goof. That's the thing with putting pressure on someone. If there's no clear attack many times it's better just to keep up the pressure and wait for them to make a mistake.
If he stays put or moves more troops in, I keep on pillaging. I'll keep the western-most guy on the grass hill -- he's a decoy largely, but he'll pillage production tiles if moogle lets me -- and everyone else will pillage the flood plains. Our sentry will go NE and should make contact with slowcheetah's orange borders in the east. But if he decides to move the spears out to attack chariots then I may have a shot at his capital. This is why I didn't pillage the pigs or move any chariots up against his capital; if he wants to attack me he has to come outside of his city to do it.
You can see how sorry a state the slider is in. Didn't I say I was going to stop making units? Well, I lied. I'm stopping now. Swear I am. Anyway, I moved Birdo, Bob-Omb, and Hammer Bros back to Wealth. This let me put the slider up to 70%, draining the 16g I picked up from pillaging. Came a little shy of Metal Casting but we'll pick it up next turn. GE due in 2 turns too.
Founded Cheep-Cheep this turn so my workers could start improving the iron. That will be hooked up on t114.
Oh, and sunrise says he's on the banana tile but my sentry chariot in the north says otherwise. Is he acting like he's going through the motions to placate me or is there another banana?
Edit: Trying to find the range of gold you get for pillaging cottage/hamlet/village. I thought i would get less than 16 for the cottage... thought it was ~10/15/20/25 for returns so maybe i just got the upper end of the cottage range? If those are the correct average values, then i can expect to pillage down 3 separate flood plain tiles and pull in around 140g next turn, assuming Moogle does not attack out. Not quite worth 300h of units, but i am also slowing down his tech rate...

We got our pillage on, met slowcheetah / FredBob, and sunrise met SleepingMoogle
Crappy luck with that Hamlet, huh? I can still run 100% with this gold.
I didn't picture the capital, but Moogle has added another spear and 2-pop whipped his capital. So I'm guessing he will have 4 spears in there for next turn. Because of that I stayed away from his capital. Again, i think it's better to keep the tension and give the defender opportunities to mess up.
What I do next turn depends on what Moogle does. Right now I plan on sending my sentry chariot to the tile where the workers are and planning from there.
Market got whipped in the capital for 2 pop. Next turn we birth a GE, finish MC, and maybe even get to 1-turn Machinery. And I'm back to #1 in food!
