Sorry for starting the game without you, Sunrise. We waited for a while, and it wasn't clear from the lack of communication on your end how long your LoL game was going to last.

Anyway, I won the game with Nic & yell0w.



We played on what was apparently the stupidest map ever rolled.


Supposedly it was Small Custom Continents (one per team), but my start looked like this:





According to the others, theirs were even worse, like one tile-islands or something.



Since I actually had a few hills to work with, I was able to build a rather late Oracle, which I used to take Philosphy, which I in turn used to run Pacifism for some early Prophets I invested in the Confucianism and Taoist shrines. Shrine income was okay, and the points were greatly appreciated. I ran an engineer for half the game, but never got one


I later also picked up a very late Colossus. Evidentally Nic & yell0w did a bit of fighting, since one of them got a GG, and I lost no units to yell0w & only maybe 4 exp worth of stuff to Nic.



Game ended when I had a significant point lead, much higher GNP than the others, was able to start a Golden Age, and was getting caravels online in a few turns.

Our continents were stupidly huge. Mine could have probably fit 30+ cities.

1 tile starts are hard. I think I had greener land than Bob, but absolutely no happy resources, no hills for production, and barely any rivers. My nearest metal was ~25 tiles away on the otherside of the continent, and the only way for me to access before I got hit by several jaguars was to settle the far end, and then settle another city along the coast on top of the copper. This of course meant I lost out on the colossus: I made a run for it, but I lost by several turns due to bob's immense head start.
