We've got worse problems...
We need to move before Plako next turn to whip the chariot (can't build an archer since he'll upgrade to a LB and won't be whippable) and move the worker to safety...

you should test that. I think you can still build archers until you have access to both LB and XBows

You were right, Automated Teller. Then again, a Chariot gives me more flexibility while defending. And I'll build a LB now.
So, what happened?
Sometimes it's better to be lucky then good....
Mali roaded the tile you were worried about, Tatan, so we've got some interesting times ahead. Feudalism is in, so we'll start on Currency once we have the money and a Library in Nero.

Praise be to the RNG, for though it may taketh, it also giveth in return.
Plako moved his trireme forward:
Nasty... we're going to need Metal Casting before we can even seriously contemplate taking that thing out.
We, uh, got a new city up though!
The archer dropped off from the galley might consider heading here... or alternatively we could send the archer to Octavianus and the chariot down to Aurelius.
I was getting nervous about Ichabod double moving Tiberius, so I moved this worker back so its worker escort would be free to move into the city.

Good job.
Metal Casting... yeah, we need it... but we need Currency and Calender as well... and since we're in no position to attack, let's focus on the later two first...

Yeah, agreed; definitely Metal Casting afterwards though, IMO.

Played the turn. Next turn we put science back on (once the Library in Nero is done).
So, now we need a plan...

New turn, Library finished in Nero, so going to build some LB's for the inevitable attack.
We can get Currency in 4t... nice!

"Plan"? You sure you have the right thread?
I took a look at the game...
Maybe Mali actually was just trying to improve their terrain? That road still bothers me.
Also, you'll notice on the right-hand side that Sunrise is 1 turn from Civil Service. That's just sickening.
We get a Great Merchant in 6 turns; what do we do with him? My personal preference would be to bulb Metal Casting.

Yeah, that were my thoughts for the GM as well.
We can use MC for Triremes and forges. And we need both...
Should we try to kill those units from Mali and capture the workers?
