Directly whipping Moai isn't the worst thing either. I often do that in unmodded BTS.

I'd have founded north of the Horses, and placed a second city south of the Lake. Horse is too good a tile to waste at this stage of the game.

Directly whipping Moai also gets hit by the slavery nerf, as you're whipping 3, 4, 5 pop.

Nope.

Requires me to build TEN chariots (that's a lot).

What do I get? Combat I on the chariots (meh)
If I have a state religion (not likely), I get 5 cities converted to my state religion. Would be kinda nice, but...nope. Not happening. Not interested in chariot rushing the ZULU.

That's been distracting me too much.

We're at 4 cities, and now I need to figure out where to go next for settling, as those were all our awesome close-by sites; now that we have copper and horses we can settle farther out. Might settle up on Commodore a bit, his power is low so I'm not that worried about Impis into Axes.

Starting to take off. No reason to whip the WB when I get the corn online next turn and fly to size 3. Whip 3 --> 2 and then get the fish online when I'm back at 3.



Probably going to go Granary --> Library --> WB (or have the WB come from Indy)



Rego showed up with a WB south of Indy. Also, offered a World Map trade with Rego, and clams-for-corn. Two reasons:
1) Gives both of us health, so why not. Not that either of us should need the health right now, but I have no natural clams, and PLENTY of corn available do deal.
2) Gives him a reason NOT to invade and be a punk with the WB.

The WM, well, I know the north, he knows the east. If he bites, it'll give me some nice intel. And it probably helps him out some, too.
