Hey Serdoa! No problem, but I could use some help now if you have the time.

CoL is already done and we're 3t from CS.
Afterwards we can tech Construction and Machinery.

Looked for a translation of the German term "sich zwischen Pest und Cholera entscheiden" and what does my dictionary come up with? To choose between the devil and the deep blue sea... how approriate, given that we can attack overseas or into one of the leaders of this game who is considered a military genius. lol

Anyhow, I'll be honest: No way. I'd say we need to come up with 30+ fighting units + 10 catapults, just to take one city from sunrise/Mali. And at that point, they probably got enough units to keep us from taking more. We can do so if that would make the game more fun for you, otherwise I would just play on and wait till the hammer falls tbh. But if you want, I'll take some looks around on the weekend and try to come up with some production plans for the cities.

Hey Serdoa, your efforts would be greatly appreciated.
I think a naval assault on Plako has the best chance of succes.
Maybe we can focus on that. An attack with Cat's/Maces on Galley's with Trireme's for support.

Played a new turn. Sunrise and Ichabod have way to good techs to attack, so the only real option is Plako.
Or we should sail around the world and attack another weak player... lol

Catapults can't be used directly from ships, you must unload them first. We can still attack of course but we'll have considerably less forces as we need to build boats as well. And with galleys he has 2 turns warning (1 turn move into visibility, 2nd turn unload next to city) at least.

How long will we approximately need for CS and Machinery? Maybe we can at least pre-build some boats. Also, can we switch into Bureau + Vassalage when we finish CS? Together with Barracks we'll have at least 2 promos on the maces. Again it bites that we are not Agg Rome, in that case we could have built Amphibious-Maces (at least I think you only need C2 for Amphibious). Could have saved the cats in that case probably.

Tbh, plako might be the hardest nut to crack. He certainly knows how to defend. I'm not sure we have the production capabilities to even get enough forces. I'd guess we need at least 12 maces and 6 cats + 9 galley to transport them. And thats to take one city. :/

Yeah, let's revolt right away, I can't think of any other compelling civics on the horizon.
