Don't give up yet. E.g. Usage of espionage has potential to slow down the runaway leader with relatively low costs, if there are several nations participating.

Why did we ban the civic swap missions? The CFC guys were right all along. ![]() plako Wrote:Don't give up yet. E.g. If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out. yuris125 Wrote:Hey Sunrise, greetings from the wastelands of Gotland! Any chance you can let our scouting vessel go through? There's no place for his empire to be, since Moogle is to the east of that spot. Basically Mali, Egypt, China, and non-communicative England are all equal tiles from the pigs. Sorry, I know it doesn't look good. But in fact we met a turn ago, and my game time was quite limited until today (as I posted in the tech thread and all over the forums ![]() I will understand if you choose the easy solution, but hope we can still work something out sunrise089 Wrote:Basically Mali, Egypt, China, and non-communicative England are all equal tiles from the pigs. If you agree on this, how long will the NAP be? 25 turns? sunrise089 Wrote:Basically Mali, Egypt, China, and non-communicative England are all equal tiles from the pigs. So that's why you asked what I thought, sunrise; I wasn't paying close enough attention to realize you were talking about that spot in particular. I guess I better weigh in: since my corner of the map doesn't get many luxuries like ... say, luxuries, I am really keen on that ivory. But I agree that logistically it's a nightmare for whichever of us want to take it. Any chance you can post a screenshot of the area in question?

@pindicator - I have a screenshot but I'm not sure about posting it. I'll ponder. I have no problem at all with you taking the Ivory resource, but I'm not sure there's any unobjectionable city spot to grab it...
My proposal would be for you to conquer the Moogle city to the east of the Ivory and access it that way ![]()
Not wanting to sound too harsh or anything, but if my assumption of the map is right, there's no way you'd keep that city by the ivory, Pindicator. I have 4 cities (very) near the area and all of them are production focused.
@Sunrise: answer me, please!!!1
@Mali - Sorry for not being able to give you an immediate and 100% answer. The nature of my position in this area, along with the public diplo rule, means it's trying to come to some sort of three-way solution. Now if you're saying a pindicator ivory city is a total dealbreaker to you then I'm OK with a 25t NAP, ceding you the rice/ivory spot, with an agreement that no other Mali cities will go up along (within 3 tiles) any of my borders during the NAP. The other conditions previously discussed (word of honor, border sentries, scouting limitations including spies, EP spending) would also be in effect.
But all of that in-part depends on pindicator. Pindicator, are you satisfied with Mali's Ivory plan after hearing their commitment? |
