You lost a newly built border city in the jungle and a few troops. You're still in good shape, you have lot of ability to punish sunrise if you choose too, and you're still doing well in the grand scheme! go get 'em tiger!

Stop whinging and go kick some arse!.
Just wanted to thank you all for the support. I cooled down and I'm slowly getting back into the game, trying not to take things so seriously.
And, DaveV, that strip was perfect, both the timing and the content. It really summarized how I was feeling.

Hey Ilios and Dave, I'm going to need a substitute to play between Saturday, Sunday and possibly Monday in this weekend. Can you guys help me?

I'm available, but pretty out of touch with the game; I haven't looked at our civ for a long time.
In other words, I can play the turns, but need an update on plans.

Hey Dave,
I managed to play today's turn and I'm pretty sure I can play monday's too (maybe even sunday's). So, if you end up playing a turn, it'll only be the next one. Just follow your insticts and if you have to pick something to build, err in the side of military.
I'll give a big report on tuesday, most likely, when I'll be back.

I have an internet connection, even in this distant land. I can play the turn, no problem.
Thanks!

Bah, I've been preparing to attack Rome for a long time now and Sunrise wants to do it too? Damn!
The biggest problem is that the Great Lighthouse city is closer to Sunrise. Well, at least I'll get horse, if I take Rome's northern cities...
Since I think i'll be attacking sooner, I will give some sort of "this is NAP-breaking" to Sunrise, if he follows my attack.

I have a good reason for the delay. I'll let you guys now in a bit.
Bah, I got the city and a NAP with Pindicator. That was gold.

I'm so confused...it's almost as though the public thread doesn't contain 100% truth
