I'd wager that would prompt some action against LP - a major win for him since as his neighbor he potentially can benefit the most from Parkin getting hurt.
But... but... that would be intelligent use of the dogpile thread. We'll have none of that in this game.
In related news, I am firmly against the non-LP players in this game being seriously involved in managing diplo in the demogame . Just so much missed opportunity there.
Except for Ichabod - he's made me laugh enough that he could start insulting my family in that thread and I'd cut him some slack.

well he can always do that after he's explored enough to get contact w/ everybody. iachabod, pin, and sunrise would help his known tech bonus I imagine.
It's not like anyone's going to go after him before astronomy anyway.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Yes but before anybody comes in LP can hit HAK pretty hard.

I think Azza and HAK actually have a lot of safety because LP doesn't need anymore land until he's ready to win and the current setup is quite easily defensible. LP won't attack out of spite, he's too measured for that.

Can we go ahead crown Ichabod the winner of this game from sheer enjoyment of his diplo posts? I love the passive needling of LP.

IMO voting Sunrise the winner when his double-move was worse than any of LP's double-moves is awfully hypocritical.
Not a knock on sunrise - he hasn't criticized LP that I'm aware of so he's consistent. Just not sure why he gets a free pass from everyone else while LP gets blasted. It's just a double-standard.

Because Ichabod was mature enough to not make a huge fuss about it. ASM and SpaceComm OTOH.

My feeling is that LP gets blasted for the clock manipulation combined with the continual double-move shenanigans. Sunrise planned his move but did not manipulate the clock (last to play, not hitting enter, etc) to carry it out. He painstakingly recorded when his opponent tended to play rather than holding the timer. If Sunrise has done other than this, I don't recall it correctly. But, to me at least, Sunrise at least owned up to his dastardly move. That also makes a difference.
My vote for winner was for Ichabod because his posts are hilarious and no other reason. But, my vote doesn't matter.
And, Rowain, I'd leave personal feelings on a player or players' maturity out of the discussion, as you are not the one investing lots of time into the game. I would also be frustrated (though I may have garrisoned my cities a bit stronger knowing LP's rep), but without you being in the same situation you can't really say how you'd respond. The double move has happened once (?) to Ichabod. CommoXenu have dealt with it repeatedly, now from two teams. Hardly a fair comparison. I'd prefer Xenu vented in his own thread, which he is also doing, but if he thinks a violation occurred, he has to let the players know. He should just tone down the f-bombs a bit.

Did Smackoti ever double move Commoxenu though? What's the deal with the SevenSpirits antipathy?
I have to run.

It was more the comparison between Ichabod and ASM.
