First report on RB, i had hoped to figure better, but.. you'll see

Had a quick look at report and the AP can be a real threat when all civs are on the same landmass, so it's best to take one's medicine and spam the AP religion into all cities. Doing so in my game saved me from an AP defeat to my own vassal!

I've done space launches out of bad starts, space launches against teams of AIs, and even a 3CC space launch. So what impressive feat could I accomplish in this basic Monarch-level game with a decent start? I know. How about a space loss?

Congratulations to Blake for making an AI that outbuilt me even on Monarch in a classic buildfest. Hilights include Justinian taking Feudalism from Oracle in BC times (when I was planning to invade him), Portugal getting Liberalism in 990AD, somebody beating me to Economics shortly thereafter, and Ethiopians launching in mid-20th century while missing a thruster, getting to Alpha Centary 3 turns before me. (I guess they saw that I was missing only life support and decided not to wait for last thruster.)

Full report will come either this evening, or later in the week.

I think you should finish it out, you seemed to have a good position. To best leverage the Pyramids you might want to consider running lots of specialists...

Heh-heh...that's pretty good. I guess it is possilbe to vasslize the whole world without hitting the Domination limit, but I never would have thought to try it!

Ever since losing my very first BtS game to a vassal with the Apostolic Palace I have been very wary of that wonder. It will come back to bite you once the AP religion has spread to all the nations. There are only three ways I know of to control its influence in the middle game - get yourself elected to The Chair by spreading the religion of the Palace to your own people and converting the nation. Or take it completely out play by conquest. Or block the spread of the AP religion by forming a Theocratic bloc of some other religion.
