Can we reserve the right to swap our votes after the difficulty has been chosen? If it's immortal + torodial i'm putting ORG > Fin in the choices...

Yeah, Monarch/toroidal is bad enough, but Immortal...

I'll have to rethink everything. And Biz shoots way up in my book if we want the Mids. No one else can get it faster than him.

Yes, for the mini-game you can change whatever you want. Just don't add in a civ already picked

bear in mind, FIN mostly just helps cottages. How many cottages do you expect to have if we build the mids and it's toroidal/emperor maintenance?

If we're FIN we're not building The Pyramids . You can lose a race to the Pyramids, but you can't lose a race to being born FIN.

Roosevelt's not bad once you get to mid-game. Quite a reasonable choice if maintenance is going to be extremely high.

Of course, I'd still be inclined to take a reasonable Financial combination if possible. Though I do think we should seriously consider Industrious as a top-tier trait too, especially if only 0-1 sites have picked an Industrious leader before us. (I think someone picking HC is inevitable, but I'm not sure if we'll see any other IND leaders being picked with any priority.)
