So, I guess leader first for us. Huayna or Mansa, probably with that priority IMHO. If Civ Players pick Huayna, we go Mansa... if not, we go Huayna. Anyone strongly disagree?

Our civ pick will be more interesting now. I guess Egypt, Mali, and China are the main contenders. Anything else we like the sound of?

On Emperor/Toroidal/Huge, Expansive is slightly less shiny than usual. I wouldn't put him ahead of HC regardless.

Agreed, if Pacal is still on the board I think we should go with Pacal.

EDIT: Crosspost with LP. Even with toroidal/emperor, we're still going to build granaries first in more or less every single city. I still think Pacal comes out slightly ahead of Huayana personally.

given the heavy maintainence, i'd actually at least give passing concerns to Sumeria, specially if gettin HC (early Zig's mix nicely with a Oracle run)
