AH price range advice

Gustaran Wrote:How much are you guys willing to pay for good level 60 gear ?
Plain and simple? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Not a single gold coin or cent.

The day i feel the need to buy anything on the AH/RMAH is the day i've lost my gaming spirit, patience and perseverance. The game holds all i ever need to gear up and it's out there to be grabbed with my own hands. If it eludes me i just need to try harder!
Arthur pulls tiles from the Scrabble bag which by random form into "What do you get when you multiply six by nine?"
Arthur: "Six by nine? 42?"
Ford: "I always knew there was something fundamentally wrong with the universe."

I think we are talking a different language here between those of us who are willing to grind for gear to progress through Infernal and those of us who think the balance is just "_#_*_@_^".

Looked at the ring peeps are calling vendor junk, and I look at my best ring for the girl in front of the Butcher's front door in Infernal (don't even know why I even gone that far), and cried. That ring is like has 4 times the stats cry

It's not that the ring is so horrible that no one would ever wear it, but more that if you're buying equipment anyway, you can get blue IAS rings for about 35k gold which do more damage.

Indeed. Prices actually start to normalize, I just saw a rare 60 ring with 70 int, 70 vit and ~ 15% IAS and some additional random stuff offered for 10 Euros.
I still wouldn't buy it, but at least it's not "crazy" anymore if you consider how much hours of gold farming you'd have to do to buy a ring like that on the gold AH (assuming you don't rely solely on drops).

IAS is getting massively nerfed, I wouldn't spend money on anything with it, as the prices will go down a bunch after the nerf hits.

That is probably a general problem since Blizzard can decide at any point in time to nerf items you spent real money for.

I just read yesterday that someone sold a single 1-hand-sword (~1250dps, 21% IAS, Life on hit) for 700 Euros on eBay yikes

Maybe Blizzard already regrets introducing a 250 Euro limit in the RMAH. lol

I remember back at a blizzcon, when they were talking about the RMAH, they mentioned they might make it possible to sell characters over it (Since that was part of the market they were trying to control). GL with 250 limit :P
