I have one of those Nostromo 52 speedpads myself. Never could come up with a good configuration for it for WOW. Maybe that would work well for Hellgate if I can figure out how to actually make a profile. But wait! I don't need to figure that out-Cyrene will post his profile[Image: lol.gif]

Yeah, KoP you are right. I haven't even bothered to download the demo. I recall too well the early game bug fests that were Diablo II and WOW, how everyone was psyched up for so long and so disappointed when the products were released. (Blizzard actually closed its public forum for D2 and would have for WOW as well I suspect if it weren't for monthly subscriptions.) I also recall how all bugs were "your hardware, not their software", how most bugs were eventually ironed out quietly with no acknowledgment by Blizzard of software changes. I know this is not Blizzard but it is still a company of folks steeped in Blizzard ways. In any event, I will eventually buy the game but am definitely in no hurry.

Well....I never said it was perfect.

The keys start out kinda stiff (it took me a bit to loosen them up), and my orange button is *still* stiff after years of use. The D-Pad on the thumb isn't particularly accurate (the 4 cardinal directionas are good to go--don't try the 4 diagonals). Some hand sizes will never work. The software is a bit clunky (but it has a wicked macro language which can abuse some gaming interfaces).

There is a new model, which might help, or might make worse, some of these issues:

In my case, my hand fits, and it has made it possible for me to play WASD games. I actually use a straight "T" movement config, shifted right, on the "wrong" keys on it smile . Which is rather the point, as far as customizing goes...

In some games it has been a moderate help and in others it is so good it is a huge chunk of cheese...

BUT...

There is also a learning process involved. Plugging this thing up into a USB port doesn't mean you are going to kick ass 10 minutes later...

I've pretty much developed muscle memory over the years for certain sequences, which I adapt to new games, so I use the same old same old sequences for new things.

YMMV
