Superfluous thread to discuss naming of things

I noticed we don't have nearly enough threads yet, have another one! Gaspar suggested elsewhere that each member get to pick one thing that angers you and we name cities after that. Similarly, workers can be named after people that anger you, RB or not. I decree that there can only be one Catwalk worker, though.

Should we do it first come first served with names, or go with the best ones first? Or even better, have lots of polls about it?

Also, how controversial/political can we get? I guess with our team theme, we should get in each other's faces as much as possible and worry about the consequences later? I think we should make an effort not to go overboard antagonizing our enemies. For example, picking all 3 of 2metraninja + Sommerswerd + CFC ISDG would be a bit much, I'd say 2 at most.

I [strike]decree[/strike] humbly suggest that every unit that is not a worker be named catwalk. We shall vanquish our foes with a flood of catwalk that will spill from our catwalking vessels and be superfluously annoying.

Hmm, good point about naming non-worker units too. An army of Catwalk units would indeed be a force to behold, I agree.

If we name our cities for people who anger us that would only encourage me to let my city of SevenSpirits burn to the ground. I would settle it on some redundant resource way out on the front lines and never grow it to size two so it would auto raze upon capture.

Also, if we're ever in a position where we're actually going to lose a city it should be renamed to Pindicator (roman numeral) because his cities always burn.

QFT. Nothing personal against him, but his in-game actions leave me breathless (not in a good way) and wanting to in-game bash his head in.

Having said that, can ANYONE explain why Azza signed up for that team, unless it is to troll LP from the inside? The only thing I can think of is he's decided it's better to be on the giving end of bullshit than the receiving end, given his PB7 experience. ASM, what do you think?
