Also, this turn we can double-whip a worker in the two cities building them, and should swap the holkan in Arithmatic to do the same thing next turn (6 -> 4, keep working the scientists, repeat until bored).

I played the turn.
Axe on axe - flawless victory, got 4 xp. Moved everything back to Chiton, costs go down a little. Delete the northern exploring warrior, costs go down a little. Whip 2 workers, currency goes to 35 turns (as we get scientists back and cottages mature, that will go down) Finish the cottages near the cap and near addition. I guess we doublewhip the worker in Arithmatic. Next build in Analogy should be a library. We can use the scientist slots.

yeah - that said, he could conceivably get horses and attack again.
btw - our supply costs are now 0 - we do have some unit costs, though. and we really need a lot of scientists... There's a warrior up near the stick that was on sentry duty, but I think with the culture from Vocabulary, we are fine. We could delete him and gain another gold.

So Sareln, master of the odds calculator...does the holkan's boost vs. archers actually matter here?

I don't think it matters, at all. It looks so tempting - only 2 defenders, and one of them is a warrior!! if our economy was stronger, we could go camping and force him to dry whip archers, but it can't handle it.
I mean, this was really a war of opportunity - that we got a shrine out of it is kind of amazing to me. HA or cats. heck, maybe he'll get another priest and settle it for us

Took a peek at the turn. Most everything looks good. More worker whip naturally. Honestly when Vocabulary goes back to size 4 I'd be in favor of whipping up another worker, stacking the whip anger, and letting the overflow complete the library.
