Yes I think it must be Agriculture next.

I am mostly resigned for an aggressive plant towards Gillette. I want that Ivory.

We need to start planning a bit further now. Worker 1 is ready and started to mine Pigs as planned. I started Worker 2. When Worker 1 finishes mine we need to start chopping forests without losing worker turns. Hopefully I find the inspiration to run some tests, but everyone is free to try it using the latest sandbox.

Concerning techs we urgently need Wheel, AH and Pottery. I'm not sure about the order of things. There are just too many cattle resources to ignore AH for long, but we need also Wheel and Pottery so it is mainly matter of what we need most based on our simulations.

There aren't any great 2nd city candidates. I don't like how far we need to settle 2nd city to claim the gold. I would prefer something closer. However there aren't any clear winners on our neighborhood so that is my current #1 spot.

Where is the latest sandbox?

A city south of our capital might make the most sense. It would also work as a stepping stone towards... stone.

Gillette are going to dominate. Do we want to buddy up and ride their coattails? We want to settle up on them but we could perhaps regain goodwill by offering a non-compete on GLH. Gillette might want to work with us, since they're not spending EP on us and since we're such nice guys (and have the worst civ/leader combination).

This post contains sandbox from few turns back.

Settling southern Corn i.e. planting towards stone feels pretty good. It actually feels better than gold, but then we probably want to start talking about our border with Gillette and try to make it fair for both of us. This would naturally need some kind of NAP deal so that we wouldn'r be in a hurry settling there.

No matter what, I support any attempt to improve our relationship with team Gillette. We don't had to be best friends, but last message was some 10 days ago and they might find their other neighbors more co-operative so I'd like to suggest a dialogue that has some substance in it.

Do we want to just tell them we're to their east? Our last message was dodging that question & they've not replied to us, so that might be a way of getting things moving again?

I'd rather settle first and negotiate later, possession being 90% of the law and all that

Okay, sandbox updated to current turn:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/15215428/rb1/sa...dSwordSave

(I also fixed the opponents, colors, and turn order.)

Open it and take a look around - it gives a feel for the game without going to the scary step of actually logging in to the game. lol
