EPIC 16 - LKendter

My report is on my website as always.
I can't believe I am reporting this late, and will be the first one to post.
I hope a few more reports show up or my scoring efforts will be meaningless.

At what point had you decided to go for a Space victory? It seemed that with all the Wonders you built that a Cultural victory would have been a lot easier.

Colossus in 205 AD. In my game, much to my sadness, it fell in 350 BC. The Colossus on this map must have been an economic juggernaut.

I was thinking space from the early one. I wanted to get the most Sushi resources, and that meant a long lasting game. If I didn't run out of realtime I probably would have delayed the launch hoping to grab a few more fish resources. With France getting beat hard I think I could have poached a few more locations.

Interesting; the AP did not figure at all in my game - so I was able to take on Khan later (my report / summary will be out later today).

I didn't see a final total of Sushi resources; don't forget there's bonus points riding on them....

huh I swore page 6 had a picture of the final count, but I don't see it. I will revised the final page tonight after work. There is an absurd about of Sushi resources with my eliminating a civ.

Hi,

great work eliminating a civ and founding so many Sushi resource cities! thumbsup That resource total (whatever exactly it is) will be hard to beat I'm sure, at least without declaring war.

I see I was not the only one expanding slowly. Founding a city on your starting landmass in 1465AD... lol

You could have avoided your financial problems with spreading Sushi by spreading it only to your opponents, which also would have increased your science output (and decreased theirs). On the other hand, seeing your GNP graph, in the end you didn't seem to have any economic problems.

Good game!

I added a picture of my 50 resources to the last page.

This was the biggest financial blowout I had in a long time. Sid Sushi = tons of food, and tons of specialists. Even with just 40% science my tech rate was absurd thanks to Rep.

Darn!
You tied my total of 50 resources!

Thought I had a good chance of clear first in that category, after reading some of the other reports! wink

The barbs founded Phrygian in exactly the same spot in my game. I did exactly the same as you - razed it so my own city could slot in one space to the west! Strange how some games turn out like that.....

Wow...talk about an Epic game. Well played, Lee. How long did it take you to play?
