[SPOILER] Kyan + thestick. Is that the best you can do?

I moved the scouting Warrior back home and am sending the second one to Haumea's spot to make sure there's no seafood I'm missing.

I was playing around with a Chinese localization patch, and I didn't have the time to switch back to English before running off. I think nothing's broken... Settler still comes out T19. Real weed on my part for misplacing Haumea's Rice. Worker first out of Haumea, but what about Pluto?

I'll bite: what is going on in mackoti's thread?!? That sounds like a great Werewolf game over there.

Warning: Mass speculation ahead.

1. That jungle is pretty obviously there to keep us from rushing to the center of the map too quickly and getting huge undefendable borders.
2. That desert/floodplains between mackoti and us is probably there to a) encourage an aggressive plant b) encourage early warfare over those sites and c) make it so that if someone doesn't plant aggressively, they're less likely to be rushed.
3. The Warrior probably started near the coast and away from the other players a) to tempt us into settling on the coast and b) to make the Warrior farther away, discouraging Warrior chokes.

The Settler was created. I moved the Warrior to near the sheep to see if there was seafood, and it turned out there were Clams 1N of the Sheep. In that case, I'm shifting Haumea 1S so we don't lock the Clams out of play.

Haumea will be settled on that plain. I queued up a Worker in Pluto, I think that was the plan. I'm not so sure anymore.

It looks like I'll be officially taking over for Kyan, at least in the forseeable future.

And so the grand city of Haumea was settled, one turn ahead of schedule in a new location.

mackoti's already up to 2 cities, by the way.

Bronze Working came in on the turn roll, and guess where the copper is?

I queued up The Wheel instead of Hunting because I wanted to get that Copper hooked up, plus it's on the way to Pottery. I found desert Incense by that copper, I hope there's some food there.

you could always grab a religion, which will make haumea's borders expand to level 3 really fast wink. assuming there's no food down there I mean.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

True, I keep forgetting about Religion. Without Mysticism, it might be a problem. Someone's already founded Hinduism, by the way.

I ran a quick test. Growing to Size 3 won't actually speed up the Settler, so of course I'll build it at Size 2. Settler completes T27. I'm sending a Warrior down south to scout the Copper area to look for a third city spot.

By the way, maintenance is pretty high. Only two cities, 3 tiles apart, and I'm already down to 80% research, 8 beakers per turn.
