so, some pics later.

I think there's a chance his stack will continue to heal - we'll see. He has more catapults coming, but no more people who can actually take a city. He might be making those in our city, but my guess is that he's building archers there. We'll see.

We have HBR, we get his research next turn. We have 4 catapults able to reach him if he moves up the hill, with 4 axes and 2 HA in the area. If he heals another turn, we'll have 4 HA, 5 axes, 2 holkans, 4 cats and a sword in the area. I dry-whipped an HA and may well dry-whuip another - we will see.

The last two turns have seen 3 archers kill units on that hill - we are now 5 xp from our 2nd GG. We should figure out what we want to do with him. Last time, I spread out the xp over 10 units - I think it helped, though I'm not sure.

I don't want to do the same thing - more importantly, I don't want to lose the GG But I am open to ideas. I don't know where it will spawn, as well.

We won 2 low-odds axe/axe attacks this turn.

Plus, we killed 2 chariots, so his mobile units are dead.

We have 9 defenders in geometry. He has 10 attackers, many of which are pretty injured. The city has a 60% defense.

My belief is that he will bring down the cities defenses and heal for a turn. I don't know that he'll do that, but collateral for a catapult caps at 50%, and some of his attacks would be low odds vs. even 1/2 strength defenders.

At that point, we will be able to bring in more catapults, though, plus have the axe/holkan that was over by sian all those turns, plus all 4 HA will be in the area, plus a sword. I think then we'd go all-in to kill his stack.

We have probably sacrificed 2 workers to do this - I had to make a road to use the 3rd catapult. he still has his GG chariot, which I assume he'd use to get those, rather than attack the city.

A worry - Ozzies power has spiked as high as thesticks. Ozzy has been scouting us, so I'm guess he's coming after Comprehension. I'm going to start building up defenses there. But I doubt we can survive a dogpile of the 2 top powers in the game. And ozzies winning, too.

There is another axe and holkan up north. Now I kind of wish my last holkan build in geometry had been an axe. Much more useful here, but I wanted to defend against the chariots.



If we had diplo of any kind, I could probably get thestick to back off, because ozzie is going to win the game if he attacks us. He'll have sian's land, 1/2 of our land, at least, and will be able to expand into drawkward, too.

But we don't, and thestick is committed to this attack. So, the next couple of turns will be pretty important...

btw - I switched back to buddhism for some happy. Sailing in 1, for what that's worth. Then up the monk techs to theology.

oh - we got a GG in subtraction. I moved him up to addition but havent' done anything with him.

I think we have to attach him. We could do it 1 or 2 units, thus ensuring HE (assuming we survive to GET HE)
