Still, I doubt this would cause an alignment change unless there were recruiters. On the other hand, the only role changes we've *ever* seen have been the result of an alignment change.

Wow, that's some pretty crazy posting from Tasunke.

Well, that's not really out of character for him, so I don't suspect him based on that. If he spent the day making cool and rational analysis I would probably be more concerned. For me, the real question is whether he would be able to stay in character as a wolf. After mulling it over a bit, I don't really see why we should presume otherwise.

Lady Deirdre communicating with a mindworm does appear to make a lot of sense, from a lore perspective. "Planet" is certainly a core concept in SMAC, so I wouldn't be surprised to find that it has a victory condition of its own, somehow. To echo Meiz: Why would Tasunke be given Meiz' role name, but not vice versa?

I guess we need to start making up our minds. It feels like people are voting Tasunke mostly for lack of a better alternative, which is... fair enough, I suppose. However, I think I'll throw my lot in with the Thestick voters instead - Thestick had something odd going on with Molach earlier related to lurker voting and singling out Molach because he didn't vote for Waterbat. Even if Waterbat would have been a candidate satisfying Molach's scumhunting criteria, Molach still had 20 other candidates to choose from.

How can I argue with this? Tasunke is clearly unhinged. Just because this is his modis operandi doesnt mean he's innocent, right?

xposting with novice - re: TheStick - after railing on lurkers earlier, I don't feel comfortable nailing the most active person on the forum. If he's hunting, great! If he's scumming, we'll get him soon enough!

Well, I *DO* have an argument against that. In previous games, I have repeatedly proven myself in the late game. Well, at least I think so.

That being said, I think I'd be inclined to agree that there is no obviously good alternative. But alas that is the nature of Day 1.

Doesn't mean he is guilty either

Everybody (well most) is voting for him because he is crazy not because they think he is a Nappy.

I'm voting for him because I think he is potentially a mindworm based on the revealed data and a bit of inference. If he is a mind worm, that could reveal a lot of information about the set up of the game, probably more than if he was a NAP member, while also getting rid of a probably enemy of humanity.

I think more people are using "He is acting crazy" as insurance rather than rationale. "I think he is suspicious, but in the case that he is innocent at least we aren't removing somebody valuable".
