This is what you get when posting in fever... let me try again. Could not find thestick defending and accusing Tas simultaniously.

I think Lewwyn means these;

Quote:I'll vote for Tasunke, for the points stated. He hasn't accused anyone yet, is still on the 'joke' stage against Injera, and posted an update on his literary tastes.
I'm still curious about why Lewwyn thinks Tasunke has a motive to deny having a name. Even if we accept that Tasunke really has a name (which I don't yet), what does Tasunke have to gain from not stating it?

Injera had said
Quote:If you were posting like that, sure, I'd put your name in red in a heartbeat. But haven't we mislynched (or almost mislynched) Tasunke for stuff like this in the past?
and then thestick replied
Quote:Your point? You're saying that 'Tasunke has done stuff like this in the past. He was a villager in the past. He is doing 'this stuff' right now. Therefore, there is a higher than average chance that he is a villager this time.'

My vote is at Lewwyn, I find his reasons behind votes shadiest of all. Secondary choice would probably be pindicator mostly on gut. Seems to me like he is too neutral, flying under radar.

I think it would be worse for almost half of the players to be spread out among non-targets. Yes, we know you've voted for them, and would wish to vote for them. Now vote for one of the class favorites!

I still can't see thestick defending Tas... Unless you mean the name thing? I'd find it odd if he would have accused Tas because of name shadiness.

I had that exact phrase marked down for pindicator - well almost - i wrote "under radar - neutral". Do you have a spy trojan on my PC, Meiz? Also - Im coming around to your way of thinking on Lllewyn. Maybe just because you've repeated it now and gotten no real response / refutation.
This caught my eye:
slowcheetah Wrote:thestick, has made lots of little mistakes in wording, but he's a) (as someone pointed out) posting enough that he'll be helpful as a villager or leave breadcrumbs as a wolf and b) mistakes often mean you are more careless when you post which is the sign of a villager.
Not because "(as someone pointed out)" was me, but because I was that active person making mistakes and posting carelessly last game WW14. Where the hell were you then slowcheetah? Oh that's right - you were busy getting yourself bussed. So - as wolf, you had a similar situation and you said nothing - allowing me to become a big mislynch target. This time, however you doing the opposite.
So, the question to us: Is sc protecting his wolf-buddy or is he innocent?
protecting his wolf-buddy this early doesn't seem right. We have to give slowcheetah some village cred here? Not much to go on... but <shrug> its day 1.

Didn't he repeat it just a few minutes ago, after Lewwyn left for his two hour drive?
I have to run.

heh. Driving is not an excuse! I did the last endgame while on a 2-hour drive
I wasn't trying to imply anything about the lack of a response - just that there was none...yet.

I would be very careful to give out village-cred that easily. Yes he pointed out what you already wrote. That can as easily be a wolf who is just repeating already known "information" to look helpful. Heck, on Day1 even as a wolf you can easily be helpful, chances are you can nightkill someone who is considered "innocent" (Baner isn't a common role in our games imo) or you can even buddy up to that helpful guy who now won't consider you that much of being a wolf as he backed you all the time = was helpful to you.
On that note, I would also not assume that the wolves are discussing every move in detail, especially on Day1. I was only once wolf (converted) and we were already in mid- to endgame but even then we didn't discuss everything we posted. Of course if Tasunke is a wolf another wolf might tell him to keep quiet. But tbh if I was wolf my approach would be to tell him to act as weird as ever because that makes it so much easier to defend him without drawing attention. After all, just pointing out that he has acted weird like that all the time isn't suspicious, right? In this case right now, I still believe chances are higher that he is a 3rd faction than that he is a wolf though.
Lastly: Tasunke is not really giving me the feeling that he is actually trying to help - neither his case nor us. Even now I feel left in the dark by him. Why did he get more information on Meiz then Meiz got on him? Oversight be the GM? I doubt that. And the GM has to know that this would be a topic for discussion and mistrust. At least between the two. So did the GM set that up deliberately to weaken the neighbour role even more, even though it was called weak quite often now? That doesn't sit right with me guys, so the only other explanation I can come up with is that the GM didn't hand out to Meiz the information about Tasunke because it would have revealed too much but he handed out the information about Meiz because it is needed for Tasunkes role / didn't reveal anything. And thats why I'd rather lynch Tasunke then thestick.
On that note: Could somebody please tell me what exactly are the cases against thestick and Molach? Molach it seems is just quiet (what in itself might be a good reason to lynch him if I had any reason not to lynch Tasunke). But what exactly did thestick post that was so bad?
