I am *much* more suspicious of the people who voted for theStick, while being reasonably certain Tasunke would hang. That is prime wolf behaviour. Dissociating yourself from an innocent target is the instinct. If you can build cover by putting in an early non-meaningful vote for a wolf, even better. If theStick turns out to be a wolf, I bet most of those voting for him will probably point to day 1 as some sort of proof of their loyalty, where instead it would be an easy and deliberate ploy.

Nice writeup, Bigger.

Why did you think he was referring to you?
Obviously there must be some scum on Tasunke's wagon, but I don't think the lynch was stupid, as such. His wagon got off to a quick start, for what looked to me like genuine reasons. That in itself is a good reason to see it through, on day 1.
If you know what I mean.

Serdoa Wrote:Jkaen, nothing against your enthusiasm, but I think you railroad yourself too much right now. You draw already the conclusion that the wolves tried to push us into a 2 villager showdown when (imo) the explanation that we ourselves put 2 villagers on the block and they simply didn't interfere with that is much more likely. I'd rather look into those who kept quiet all the day.
Btw: thestick seems overeager (for that we had a mislynch he was involved in) to push for the next target. And you are not far from that, but at least you were right on Day 1 so I can understand why you would be confident in your conclusions. Still, I think we should be cautious about to much confidence, else the wolves will (again?) sit quietly and watch us lynching each other.
I agree the wolves would have sat back and let the village do its usual self destruct theory, but it would only be a minor nudge to lock down to those 2.
More to the point I believe at one point it was somthing like 6/2/1/1/1/1/1/1 on the votes and thestick was then locked in as the 2nd option by some. If he was a wolf I would have expected somebody else to at least double up another member making it 2 villagers, 1 wolf ont he podium to give the stick a better chance of escaping.
Despite the above I mean to say that the people locking us in fall into the 'suspicious' category not the 'guilty' column as yet, but I have always believed in lots of little tells giving people away rather than 1 huge mistake.

Lewwyn Wrote:And seriously my reasons are perfectly legit. I don't understand how they are "shady" at all. The original reason Meiz voted for me was because I cast some suspicion on Injera but didn't vote. BUT Injera's response to my suspicon was GOOD so I didn't pursue it. I'm about 90% convinced that Injera is a villager. See Meiz that's why you push people sometimes even if there isn't a vote.
Originally just a hunch, but the reasons behind voting thestick still don't make sense to me. "attacking and defending Tasunke and at the same time accusing those who also were attacking Tasunke." and "causing confusion"
Zak (and Serdoa?) pointed out that he was not defending Tas, but rephrasing Injera's words. So there goes your original argument, "poof". Yet you continued the argument of him attacking and defending Tas at the same time. So that's what I mean by shady. Seems more like an excuse to vote, instead of a reason behind a vote.
Lewwyn Wrote:BTW can we get a list of what names or nameless ones people have claimed? Here's what I've collected so far:
Meiz - Dierdre
Maniac - Colonel Santiago
bobchillingsworth - Captain Ulrik Svensgaard
Mattimeo - Domai
Injera - Cha'Dawn
Qgqqqqq - Aki-Zeta
Jkaen - No name (Howell Lupus made up)
Waterbat - No name
Molach - No name
Selrahc - No name

Oh and just so we don't go through something similar to the whole name change ability thing again tomorrow, can we all agree and make it clear nobody has seriously claimed any sort of invulnerability power at this point.

I do agree with this argument: The voting pattern and Tasunke's innocence suggests that thestick isn't wolf. Not enough to clear him, but enough to bump him down on the suspicion list.

I also didn't see the groinal kick as directed towards me, although I'm always available for abuse I think Bigger was being creative, as I don't see any sequence of events that matches the day end spectacle (thought Tasunke voted for someone that defended him, maybe thestick?).

I really try my best to remain quiet at night, but I can never resist completely. Travelling for work today, so I expect it won't be *too* hard.
Yes, Mattimeo, BRick did claim 'Chairman Yang'
Selrahc - I agree with your reasoning - if Tasunke looked certain to hang, it would be easy to vote onto thestick. I also agree with Jkaen though - primarily because it would be so hard to come up with a reason to switch off of thestick late if he ended up slipping into the lead. It really depends on how sure the wolves were that Tasunke was going to bite the dust.
more in morning.

I thought he could have been referencing me since I defended Tasunke, so I asked if he did. Waterbat took that as a reason to push with some shoddy reasoning
waterbat Wrote:indeed pindi. Im curious as to why the howl of pain you uttered upon receiving the blow sounded so practiced. Like howling was second nature.
And rather than taking apart how silly his logic was (like, why would a wolf need to practice how to howl in pain for it to be second nature?) I threw back a little sarcasm.
