Assuming Lewwyns list from his last post is accurate, added myself and Sareln:
1. Jkaen - (No name) 2. Thestick - 3. Serdoa - 4. Tasunke - no name(Thinker) 5. Waterbat - no name 6. Sareln - No name 7. Lewwyn - Lular Hâminee 8. Molach - No name 9. Slowcheetah - 10. Mattimeo - Domai 11. Injera - Cha'Dawn 12. bobchillingsworth - Captain Ulrik Svensgaard 13. meiz - Dierdre 14. Selrahc - no name 15. Pindicator - 16. Novice - 17. Zakalwe - 18. Maniac - Colonel Santiago 19. BRickAstley - Chairman Yang 20. Qgqqqqq - Aki-Zeta 21. Catwalk - Zak So 6 left to claim. thestick, Serdoa, Slowcheetah, Pindicator, Novice, Zakalwe. And the wiki says were 7 factions originally + 7 from expansion pack, so 14. To make 21 players I suppose we have 7 without name. Which means there are just 1 more with no name and 5 factions leaders left to claim. Lewwyn, I didn't get from your revelation post that you were an alien. What is your role called? And you were told outright that your fellow alien is in NAP? At first glance I thought this makes Lewwyn a sure villager, but I guess there is possibility of this being a gambit, or some weird alien-sideshow-seperate win condition thing. Still got a villagerish read though. Anyone remember a game where Lewwyn did drunk posting and still was a wolf? In vino veritas and so forth, his recent posts seem good to me. And while it may seem that we now have a good chance to hit scum, "one of the two who will surely claim 'no name' must really be Judaa Marr". However mabye Judaa has a warning in his role PM that his alien colleague knows he is evil, and so has preemptively claimed no name earlier. Well, its possible. In the Fall from heaven game the Ashen Veil scum were warned that their name was evil and they were given an unused name to claim. It is possible Bigger & Uberfish have foreseen an early mass claim followed by a quick lynch.
Molach, I was afraid I was going to do a hit and run, but then I saw your name pop up when I previewed the post and apparently you're up. I went back and read the post I mentioned earlier, and it still feels scummy to me. It stills sounds a lot like your posts last game. slowcheetah picked up on it earlier than I did, as well. I don't think novice has weighed in on it.
Here's what bugs me: Molach Wrote:About Tasunke case - I'm mostly getting the 'a wolf wouldn't do that' vibe, and don't feel Tasunke would play this way as wolf. But he's never been a wolf yet so we'll not know for sure. WW13, I was stubbornly suspecting him to the very end when he was villager. In your post, you say you believe that there's no wolf on the chopping block. If you believe that, isn't it a bit pointless to focus on the votes? Why do it pre-emptively, before the alignment is revealed? Molach Wrote:Heh, if thestick is innocent then be wary of the middle group here too... Same questions as above, but what really bugs me is that "Heh" is out of place. What's so funny about a mislynch? Molach Wrote:First day as villager is mostly guesswork anyway. After we lynch or mislynch someone, and a veteran villager is killed tonight, so much more to do. You seem to be pretty confident how everything is going to shake out...

If the opponent isnt bad whats the point of Ls power? Selrahcs post (alien hate) is suspicious to me after his D1 bile. However, there is still no response from slowcheetah

pindicator Wrote:And I'm going to be a bit more forceful than you were about all this 3rd party b.s. This is reading more like a witch hunt than a wolf hunt (or a NAP hunt). Right now it reads like Selrahc's more interested in theoretical third parties than actually hunting for the bad guys we know are out there. First it was following up on a Meiz's theory that Tasunke might be a mindworm -- pushing that theory even when Meiz himself dropped it as being too far fetched -- and now it's aliens? This seems like the wolf tactic of getting the village to talk about meta and setup rather than focusing on finding wolves. None of that is profitable to us; Selrahc gets my vote It is absolutely profitable to us, if it is correct. I'm not going to stop doing it when we have what looks like a definitive lead. I honestly can't believe that in a game where the victory condition is to eliminate threats to humanity, somebody can get away with claiming to be an alien from lore where the aliens are a great and inalienable threat to humanity. It is genuinely mind boggling to me that anybody is giving any credence to Lewwyn at all. We don't have to immediately kill him, but we can't trust him. If I had to bet, I would say that the Aliens have some sort of feuder role, roughly akin to the FFH Elf role, except mutual to both aliens. That isn't good. That isn't ignorable. People with third party victory conditions are fodder for wolves, and will stick around until the end game ready to betray the village as soon as possible and giving unreliable advice. Everything Lewwyn has done in this game has been to take down Marr. He says that "My role PM says that Marr is a NAPper". I can't trust him on that. I think he has an ulterior motive. I don't think novice has weighed in on it. On phone so just quoting whole thing. First part you basically say that if I hadnt posted you wouldnt have voted for me. You pro-lurking? I was a wolf last game and so were you. And slowcheetah. I would like to see more detail about my posts are similar, examples. However first day last game I was doing my damnedest to act like a villager, see in wolf thread where I say something like 'ill attack anything i would have found suspicious were I a villager, regardless if villager or fellow wolf is target'. You could also go 1-2 more games back when I was villager again and compare if you please. I am trying to be a bit less easygoing this time. The 'heh' is because I repeat myself, first to look at middle Tasunke voters then middle thestick voters. Middle group is often a safe place, you did not initiate a mislynch, and you are not clinching the vote. Often a reason is not needed either, just that you agree with whoever started the thing. Yeah I thought Tasunke was innocent, was trying to get someone else to hang. At same time laying groundwork for who to look at. Why pre-emptively, people tend to die in these games. Good to leave behind information survivors can use. I was confident I wouldnt be scumkilled, but turns out catwalk was vigilante, and he wanted to lynch me...mabye he would have sent in a kill if he could. And then youd know that i really did find waterbat villagerish, that i am suspicios of slowcheetah, pindicator and the middle-tadunke voters. And yeah I was confident a veteran villager would die. That surely means i am a psychic or a wolf... Catwalk was not on my A-list but he has experience and has been villaher every game. So i was right. Moving on. Lewwyn, why thestick again? While I voted him over tasunke, why are you so convinced now? And pindicator gave me scum-feel yesterday. Posts but no content. Anyone else have thoughts on his game so far?
For those of you who are new players, in the FFH werewolf game, we did have the 'good' elves and 'evil' elves who had a vendetta and were specifically out to get the other one killed. It is possible we have the same thing again here with the two alien players.
The night kill I don't understand either, so can't help people there. Molach's post #393 seems a bit off to me, its one of those large volume posts where nothing new is really put forward, and there is a subtle push for role reveals rather than just name reveals (which I am not going to agree to). Hence for now that is where I will put my vote
Crossposted my last with a number of points including Selrahcs #396 where he covers the elf thing too
As for catwalks death:
I remember that in my wolf-game Injera and I were afraid to nightkill Ichabod because he was already onto Injera. We finally did it anyway if I remember correctly but thats not the point. The point is that as wolves imo you will try to kill someone who is onto you before it is obvious. And catwalk was onto Molach as well as thestick. Something I will keep in mind. Also I agree with those who don't like Selrahcs acting. Not because of Tasunke (I believed there is a high chance he is a 3rd faction as well) but because he did completely ignore the possibility to kill of a wolf and instead just questioned Lewwyns claim. Why have you ignored everything else what was said Selrahc? Another note: Do the no names actually have a name like Tasunke had Thinker? I can't believe that only Tasunke got a "name" and all the others were just told "you have no name". If they have, please come forward and post it. It might help to find out if someone uses no name as excuse (as I believe there will only be one of every "name" -> no more Thinkers). My name: Sister Miriam. |
