When I don't have time to play I try to be effective and not engage in fluff. As a villager, that is.
novice Wrote:So he's not the worst lynch candidate, he did say he was going to analyze Catwalk's posts though, let's see what he comes up with.
This analyze Catwalks posts is another point. Not that hard. Basically Catwalk wanted to lynch Molach. I had this sudden thought that pindicator may be actually laying the foundation of a mislynch here without directly voicing suspicion or making a vote. Make the villagers spot who catwalk was after and react. Bob did something similar but he actually did analyze the posts and post result.
Add this to the rest is why I think it's the best candidate for a lynch - or at very least pressure - today.

However, since both Catwalks and Tasunkes 'names' wouldn't have given me much of an indication of their role. I guess it doesn't do any harm. **
Brother Lal of the Peacekeepers is my title.
*No it doesn't.
**Yes it might, 2 is a low sample.
Nervous about being last one to claim?
Last 4 (really 3 since sister miriam claimed) were in all likelyhood human faction leaders, so claiming now has about zero value to village.
And while the rules say scumminess is not connected to name, they do not say that a player's power isn't

Here is what I think is the setup post, my emphasis:
pindicator Wrote:Bob, I'm glad someone else is thinking of "why catwalk" question. I think it's a question of who has a stake to lose from catwalk being a live. Will need to re-read his posts and see if something fits.
[cut reasoning] Selrahc gets my vote
So I'm paranoid or this might be a setup.

Catwalk wanted to lynch you, but I think it's a bit farfetched to suggest that the reason he was killed was to setup a mislynch on you. As Bob said nobody was really listening to his points at that time.
I think a more plausible reason for the Catwalk lynch is probably that a number of the usual day one kills (Zak, novice, lewwyn, meiz) are wolves. Or to channel the deceased Catwalk, the wolfpack contains none of the 'bigdogs' but the wolves are trying to misdirect people into finding them suspicious.

I suspect Molach and thestick because Catwalk voted on them.
I suspect Selrahc may in reality be a wolf Judaa Marr, as he seems quite adamant about getting rid of Lewwyn.

Crossposted, rereading the pindicator quotation I like your argument a lot more. It is rather a leading way of putting that.

To maniac, so you are currently voting for for low activity, and the quick accusation [against thestick], and safe posts, correct?
I did elaborate the accusation later on fyi. Don't know if my posts are still safe.
I also think Catwalk voted thestick as preference over Tasunke, he really wanted me lynched.

Correction I meant suspecting me, not voting

Maniac, my point here is that it is more helpful for the villahe if villagers clearly state why we suspect someone. Wolves have to invent cases against villagers. So each night after a villager dies we go back and look at who they suspected and why. They are not made right post mortem, so the reasoning is good to have as it has happened that villagers getit
wrong.

Letme get something clear. I'm not necessarily saying that we need to lynch Lewwyn immediately. I'm not even sure that my vote is going to be on him come days end. I do however think that because of the lore attached to his claimed personality, we can't trust him in any way shape or form, pretty much ever.
I can see Novice and Maniac insinuating or stating that I'm probably Marr. I'm not. I'm just somebody who knows AC lore well enough to say that I doubt aliens are on the side of humanity. Are both of you happy to go along with Lewwyn's stories? His alien role doesn't make you trust him less in a game which explicitly calls a victory condition "Destroying the enemies of humanity"? I would call it naive to be anything less than distrustful.
Because I smell a fairy tale being cooked up by Lewwyn, and I think he needs to be pushed out of it. His gameplan to date is basically nonsensical, since he has apparently thrown away his big trump card(and only power) of "knowing that Marr is NAPper". After some fleeting questions on day 1? What? Call it an obsession if you like. I think this alien issue is by far the biggest concern I've seen today. And what Lewwyn has said is far too convenient to be allowed to stand.
