WW15 - Chiron is a harsh mistress

Alright. smile Thanks for playing novice, sorry you had to play wolf yet again.

Sorry for not being around folks. I went out for early drinks yesterday and sort of lost Friday. I've skimmed through things but I don't have time to digest anything until tonight.

That makes me think there's a dedicated name-seer.

You mean a dedicated name-seer for the wolves? If so, great for us! Isn't this a complete waste of a power? I understand reasoning behind the village having a name seer because Lewwyn has to find his mate. But why would the wolves need one? It's not like they would scan H'minee for purposes of verifying his alignment.

Of course - this could devolve into all kinds of third-faction speculation.

UNless - we assume that the name hints at the powers - then the NAPs would scan to find powers as well.

Also - Maybe Bigger/uber didn't realize that there would be a big name claim at the beginning <shrug>

I don't suspect he's quite that stupid though, to say something out of genuine sympathy for another wolf.

[Sarcasm]No he is right. I am a wolf buddy of novice. I was upset at his lynch so I let slip the 'ow' to show my pain at our loss. And I posted it in the game thread after lynch rather than in the wolf forum after the SCAN because ..... I never thought it would be noticed. [/Sarcasm]

Actually the ow is not related to game, but rather the state of veisalgia I was in at the time. See a post made at 01:45 with a bit more than average typing errors. Then a post at 07:53 starts with the word 'ow'.

Waterbat, would make sense that there are those 3 seers, they get role seer to help their hunt, we get the alignment seer and the name seer. Name seer so far seems to have the function to find Marr. (And in my very humble opinion a name-scan against nameless is best). Target which of zakalwe, selrahc, , sareln, thestick, molach, waterbat, jkaen you think is most scummy.

(Posted by Lewwyn in #453 ) Either way I would guess at least one of our no namer's is Judarr [Marr].

I do concede that this is how-would-Bigger-setup-the-game speculation and not 100%, but not 50-50 like Meiz said either.

If that was unclear, the name-seer should scan a nameless, Serdoaseer scans regardless of name or no.

The mood was indeed better after day 2, as many wished to celebrate the death of the evil Sindar Roze. Many gathered at the bar; Captain Svensgaard dispersed his homemade pirate rum freely, while Domai preferred a simple beer. Yang and Santiago retired to the war room to compete in a war simulation. Morgan again setup a few gambling tables, but this time Aki-Zeta 5 cleaned him out. Morgan accused her of cheating, and a heated argument broke out, but Lal broke it up and convinced both parties to retire to their room and cool off. Eventually the group retired, mostly sleeping soundly, thanks to the booze.

Early in the morning, just before dawn broke, everyone was awoken by a bone chilling scream. A crowd gathered in the hall, and tried to determine where the scream came from. A quick headcount revealed that only CEO Morgan was missing. The crowd rushed to Morgan’s room and found him lying in his bed. His ebony skin had turned as pale as a ghost, his eyes were stuck open in a look of horror, and his body was rigid.

Pindicator, the greedy CEO Morgan died night 2.

You are CEO Morgan, of the Morganites. You are a villager.

You have the following ability:
Nerve gas pods: You can have your probes release a toxic nerve gas that will incapacitate all oxygen breathing life forms. It will not kill them, but it will ensure that they are unable to do any night actions (including kills). This is a severe atrocity and can only be used if the U.N. Charter is repealed, and only once.
You win when all threats to humanity are destroyed.

Morgan’s avarice didn’t make him the most popular person, but in the end he had been an innocent man. Further, the group soon realized the great power he had to fight the NAP’s. An emergency meeting was called, and several suggested that the U.N. charter was only slowing down the group’s NAP hunting abilities. Lal attempted to instill calm and suggest prudence, but in the end he was overruled in the hysteria. A vote was taken, and only Lal and the drones voted to keep the charter.

The U.N. Charter has been repealed. All atrocities may be now used.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.
