There's also one more you are missing.

(In Alpha Centauri, no comment if they are in this game or not :X)

I had to look it up:

Genetic warfare

Probe teams can utilize genetic warfare to instantly murder half the population of the victimized base. Military units occupying the base will suffer an immense amount of damage

thestick

Lewwyn, is this why you are voting thestick?
I agree this is pretty weird stuff to be posting, but cannot fathom why a wolf would possibly post this. To save novice? I think this post is villagerish because it is almost beyond stupid for a wolf to cast doubt on the seer like this, when they knew what novice was.

I'm inconclusive myself.

About Pindicator's death, certainly a stroke of luck for me he was the target. I would probably have tried to lynch him today again. Also wolves did not nail baner/protector/nameseer so good result.

Thanks for playing Pindicator and good job taking a hit for the team.

I've been voting for thestick since day 1. Ever since his squirrelly crap with Tasunke. Day 1, Day 2, Today.

ANyway GG Pindicator!
I recieved this last night:

Quote:On another note:

You had a very vivid dream last night. When you awoke you could remember every detail, and it appears someone communicated to you telepathically in your sleep. This is what you heard in your sleep:

Hello. I'm a villager whose role is "Datajack". I'm allowed to determine player roles, and to send messages to other players, but Bigger has forbidden me to tell anybody in either messages or in the game thread about my identity. I'm messaging you because probe teams have revealed Maniac is a "NAP Role-blocker". I'm telling this to you because I'm pretty sure you're a villager, and will reveal it. If you *aren't* a villager, then a suppose we both get to learn a lesson. Please make sure this information isn't wasted.

Obviously as we don't know who this is from we don't know how to respond to it but I would assume a villager is attempting to use me as cover.
However I'm not nearly experienced enough to know what to do on my own I will submitt it to group discussion.

For now at least my vote is on Maniac.

Well I did vote for Maniac during the night, BUT I've seen a whisper role where scum may whisper something to another player. I would prefer to run with thestick whom we suspect on ole fashion wolf hunting. Anything you have to give us through a secondary source is suspect. My verdict: bullshit.

Wow.

Okay, that message is false. Both about my alignment and role.

Some arguments:
  • Sinder Roze was the one who could detect player roles. I have no experience with mafia here. Is it likely there would be two characters with the same ability??
  • SMAC doesn't have a specialist type called Datajack.
  • It strikes me as strange that someone would be forbidden to reveal their role by Bigger. Seems like a lame excuse to be able to sow distrust anonymously.
  • In this game we have Roze able to determine roles, and Miriam/Sardoa able to determine alignment. It seems unlikely to me there would be another character who could do both. Furthermore, the message only states that they can determine player roles. Even if that were true, they would only be able to tell I was a role blocker, not that I was NAP.

Seems rather clumsy IMO.

For the record, so far I have named thestick, Molach and Selrahc as people I suspect of being NAP. And just now I questioned BRickAstley about his Yang-ness and ability to do an atrocity. I guess the fact I'm being targeted makes it more likely one/several of these is NAP.

You are Sindar Roze, of the Data Angels. You have secretly aligned yourself with the evil NAP conspiracy.
One conspirator per night may make a night kill.
You have the following abilities:
Infiltrate datalinks – your probe teams can scan one player per night. You will not learn their identity, however you will learn the powers and abilities that player currently has.
You win when all threats to your conspiracy have been eliminated, or if you control a big enough voting block to ensure this.

Novice was of the Data Angels and his role power was called Infiltrate Datalinks which is essentially the same as the role you're being sent PLUS a whisper ability without revealing who? I mean. Did you know gullible isn't in the dictionary?
