Foreman Domai, of the Free Drones.

Ah, thank you stick, I hadn't seen that in my search.

So Sir Mattimeo, what have you to say?

Also to be clear, i know what my ability does thank you very much. :P I just don't know what it will accomplish, or to better phrase it, why it is a useful ability.

I know, but not having your ability being spelled out, namely exactly what a Drone revolt is, is a bit weird.
More people have been to Berlin than I have.

And that part I agree with you on. I haven't been told what exactly a drone riot does, which is why at this point I'm just asking anyone for clarification.

My role PM also mentions drone riots, specifically that I am able to instigate one, but it makes no mention about what the drone riot itself actually does. I do, however, get arrested if I attempt to instigate one, so I've been rather hesitant about doing so.
I'd offer to test it out, but I don't particularly want to waste my ability just to find out what it does tongue

thestick
a) he's pretty obviously a wolf from interactions with and information known about Serdoa yesterday
b) he's appearing to leak information as he struggles

We should use both of ours on each other to get a zero-sum. lol jk jk.

And I also think that thestick seems like the obvious vote for today, sorry man but you've just been acting too screwy. I don't wanna just waste the day though leaving it on him, so I'll start looking through some other previous posts in order to try and find anything else suspicious.

Right now though I'm gonna stick my vote on Sareln for the time being, as he has the smallest post count by far in this thread, and hasn't said much in his posts for the last few days aside from one mega-post. Well man, what are you thinking in that Platypus brain of yours?

Well, if you both are telling the truth, then I'd like to lynch Bigger. I think giving an ability without explaining what it actually does is not very fun. It just adds another layer of meta-speculation (which we already have more then enough imo). Maybe you guys ask Bigger in private if he can clarify what the ability actually achieves?

About the message: We are told in a very clumsy way that Maniac is a NAP role-blocker. From pure meta-speculation we are very certain that no role exists that gives that kind of information. I doubt Qgqqqqq came up with it either tbh (a villager wouldn't make that up imo and as a wolf-play it seems completely pointless as it doesn't make him look innocent at all). So, I assume there is a role which can send messages - and it is a wolf role (as again if we assume that no role+alignment seer exists it means that a villager would have lied for no reason and I doubt that).

Now, that means a wolf has sent that. There are certainly many, many explanations why he did that. But I believe the easiest explanations are the best in that case. Now what could that be? Well, I think it was pretty obvious that thestick would be lynched today no matter what. Therefore the only reason to send such a message today seems to be to save him for another night. There might be a hidden second reason (like making us believe that Maniac is a villager while he is a wolf or vice versa). But I firmly believe that the main reason was that they hoped to get us investigate other options and leave thestick alone. Why? Well, because if he was a villager there was no reason to send the message today. They knew he would hang, so they could have waited another night, I really don't see how it benefits them at all sending that today if thestick was a villager. Quite the opposite, it would heighten the chances that we lynch someone else (and that someone might be a wolf) instead of him.

Well, I voted for thestick already, but thats my interpretation of that message.

Btw: @Qgqqqqq:

Were you allowed to post that message? I was under the impression that the rules forbid reposting anything the GM did send us without rephrasing it.

I'm still struggling to see why thestick is the obvious choice today.

Anyway, the message regarding Maniac is quite interesting. As in, it's not even close to being believable. If the idea was to save thestick, I think the wolves would have done a better job with the message...
thestick Wrote:Seer with an ability to release results without putting himself at risk seems too powerful to be true.
Agreed.

What I do find strange is that Maniac posts this 20 minutes after the reveal, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showpost....tcount=678

So in 20 minutes, he has all the facts and counter arguments investigated and collected, and time to post it. There's a clear contrast when compared to his earlier posts, like someone mentioned. Seems to me that the message was prepared in advance. My bet:

Bobchillingworth Wrote:* It's reverse psychology, Maniac *is* a Wolf, but the message is intentionally poorly delivered by another wolf so that we ignore it and automatically assume he's innocent.

Anyways, I'm afraid I have to stir the pot even more. Last night I got confirmation from Bigger that there are mind worms in this game. First I thought Selrahc is them, since he has taken so noticeable "anti-third party" stance through the whole game (distancing attempt). But Sareln's quiet play is so baffling, that he is my top candidate for mind worm.

For me it's between Maniac and Sareln. Going to go with Sareln, since I'm afraid mind worms can do some recruiting.

Many, many reveals all around it seems.

How did you get informed about mindworms Meiz? And why is Sarelns play (which I greatly dislike but is none different than every other WW-game he played) exactly a sign for him being a mindworm? Not to say he isn't, but I also don't see how his standard play makes him the obvious choice as mindworm either.

Also, do you really believe that the message was reverse psychology? No matter his real alignment but I doubt anyone would consider him a villager now, not because of the possibility of reverse psychology but purely because the message was so badly worded that I doubt anyone would really assume that they tried to get us to lynch Maniac.

Gained a new ability which got me that info.

It's not obvious choice, just my personal best bet. I don't feel like this much lurking is his standard play either. I don't feel like he's even lifted a finger to find the Nappers. Was thinking that if mind worms can do recruiting, Sareln's tactic would be to fall to the lurk mode and activate later in the game (or if he gathers enough attention). If not a mind worm, then possibly a Napper. I don't think we can leave him to the end game, when there's no trail of him.

It's possible the idea was to just cause chaos. I just found Maniac's quick detailed response suspicious.
